Not sure if it has already been revealed somewhere else, but Gamereactor interviewed Tim Willits at QuakeCon, and he eluded to a closed beta which apparently is set for next year.

So once upon a time I had a bunch of convenient aliases to callvote maps:

alias bloodrun "callvote map bloodrun"
alias furious "callvote map furiousheights"
alias t7 "callvote map furiousheights"
alias sinister "callvote map sinister"

and so on...

I could type "sini" in console and then hit tab to auto complete. This does not work anymore for some reason.

Can someone help me re-establish my aliases so auto completion works again? I am not looking for binds. Have been messing around with it for a while now but cannot get it to work.

Apparently James has worked a bit more on the game since the showcase here the other day. Among other things he is showing us the 'blink' and 'slide' ability as well as a 'pillar' weapon function he is fooling around with.

I don't really get why you say that.

SirScoots was trying to take an ambiguous point of view on the matter. As he stated himself he would love to have QL on the program since he has several quakers on his EG-roster. What he said was that he doubted the sense from a business perspective.

Furthermore his comment about lvl^ being low-tier was in referance to the DreamHack stream and only concerning the production value. It was a bunch of dude streaming on-site with a webcam and a couple of mics. Not really a high budget production compared to other streams.

That being said I am also sure he was not complaining about the quality of the end product as lvl^ did a fantastically job.

Don't try to make his statements more negative than they really were if you ask me.
