nah, not that great imo.. takes to long to get an acceptable setup with ship and so on.. I don't have the patience to play it :(

If I'm going to start a mmorpg it's going to be World of Warcraft or Guild Wars.

im never gonna get stuck to a mmorpg for a longer time. i can rape some monsters (in this case not) from time to time, but these kind of games just take too much time without getting too much skills
boring after a month of playing, for me ofcourse

Booger: That is just how it appears to start out, but once you have gotten some basic PVP skills and a ship or two to fight in it starts becoming incredibly interesting....

The corporation I'm in right now (50 Active PvP'ers) is currently declaring was on an alliance of over 1200 players...

It's just a joke me and a friend of mine like to make to the EVE players. I know a lot of people who play or have worked on the game so I know pretty well how the game works. Hell I even watched that tv show about ccp and EVE the other day. Pretty funny how one romanian fucked over his corp. It's available online but I think you won't understand word except the interview with that South African player.

It's just that mmo games aren't my cup of tea. Bore me tears every last one of them and I have given them plenty of chance. Especially DAOC which is the most useless game of all time.

Its was fun for a while, after mining some weird stuff at 0.4 with the ocasional group of noobies or whatever. I was just looking for a archspace replacement. The game got dull as every rpg can get..

I have just started playing it last night........hopefuly it will get better =]

It does take a month or 2 to get skills required for stuff like PVP, to get ships and guns etc to be able to do well, but its worth it, real comradery can be found in the good PVP corps to name a few:

Reikoku - Drexciy is in this corp - Great bunch to fight alongside - DBP is my god
Black Nova Corp - Great to fight alongside - scary on TS
m0o Corp - Evil buggers but bloody awesome PvP'ers
Shinra - Also Evil :P
Supremacy - Scary
Slacker Industries - My corp, hilarious laffs always

You of course get smacktalk from a select few idiots but then you get it in everygame...

Trust me you will be hooked after 2 weeks ;)
