How to play back UT demos

This demo is from the 2on2 continent matches at WCG 2002.

I don't think its uploaded to ESR or Cached. I am uploading it now because it is a f*cking amazing demo. This is Unreal Tournament at its highetst skill level. Great plays from both teams, amazing shots exchanged. I have to honestly say that this demo is 1000x more interesting than any UT2k3 demo(zZzzZzz). It even beats any Quake 3 demo I have seen in the last few monthes. So to any UT fans left who have not seen this I have to say enjoy.

Update: Unfortunately this file is no longer available on ESR.

UT1 may have been more fun (that's everyone's own opinion) but it certainly isn't better suited to competitive play than 2k3.

(Please don't start on the whining again, guys, ut1 was great because it wasn't taken as seriously :P)

You need patch 436, Bonus pack 1 and 2 and then get the UT Demo Manager 3.0 it should be able to automatically download any U file you need.

Yes the demo manager 3.0 downloads all the files for you except for the GTX.u file.

Could someone upload the demo zulg - zuberfly played on deck 16? I think it was a WCG qualifier game. zulg managed to beat zubarfly and made a few nice trickjumps in the progress.

Would be candybar sweet to see this demo.

It seems like there are more UT1 players than UT2k3 anyway.
Just check ClanBase how many comments are made to the UT2k3 games compared with them made to UT1. =]

All in one there are about 5 times more ppl interested in UT1 than in UT2k3. Maybe that's because UT1's amazing elegant style attracts more ppl than UT2k3's jellybaby style :D

as for me, i got really bored of ut1 after wcg.

i think, all the players had the same opinion at that event, everone looked forward to ut2k3.

And it was fun for the beggining, until players, trying to become pro, havent discovered a bunch of random factors. After that, players started to recognize, that playing ut1 was actually much more fun. Tho in my opinio, only with high tickrates :)

So now i think everyone are looking forward for a balance, or a new game.

Well i was also looking forward to UT2k3 when i first heard of it, but after I had played it the first time i was very disappointed.

They should've improved UT1 (which is already almost perfect) instead of making a completely new game with such a suckage gameplay. :f

Btw very popular atm is UT1 instagib. Many nw-players switched to it (like me). It's like playing a different game with the same great gameplay and needs a perfect moving and combination of moving and shooting. And most important: it's plain fun! :]
