House of reps is republican dominant.
Just by the sheer amount of fuckery coming out you know something is not right
it can equally be explained by motivated people pushing misinformation.
where were snowdens information uncovered in all its glory?
insisting us media coverage could not be bad because you know one example where it was not appaling, trying to lecture me about picking examples as well,
the only intellectual bias I admit to have is a reversal of burden of proof. I know us media and 'deep state' cannot be trusted because of the many uncoverings of the past, but also by my own personal common sense, listening to the sickness of whats happening behind the scenes, told by snowden as one example.
do you know 2013 the majority of us citizens were FOR a prosecution of snowden, aver 50%? why is that, if they are so greatly informed? because another outlet will say the contrary. that is not informing the public as I had it in mind...
you are missing the part where a truth is drowned in a sea of articles/reports spinning the story, leaving out important things, downplaying it or straight denying it.
you for some reason felt the need to point out greenwald did such a great job. which surely he did. still, the american public was not thorougly informed. their mass media is like a brainwash machine, everthing is well controlled, orchestraded and in many cases fabricated.
I read them because it's a topic I care about, and so I've also talked to many people very many times about this issue, online and IRL. One of the main conclusions is that while some people are receptive, most are just fundamentally interested in feeling like their lifestyle choices are fine. Or that their state is benevolent, or that this is unimportant, or that anything to do with digital privacy means you're paranoid, you feel like you're being persecuted by the state personally, or you might start wearing tinfoil as your hat. This is despite me only using extremely reputable resources on this topic, because honestly those are depressing enough, no need to go into speculation.
Why do you think people, I assume studied, somewhat informed people, think like that? How do they come to these conclusions, when not reading hundreds of sources, but just those few easily available? I know it is a far stretch, but as I said,
the reality is different for every person
the perceived reality is different for every person. because our filters in our brain are wired and learned different. that does in no way mean an objective truth cannot be achieved or should not be strifed for
you'll see their foreign policies are fairly identical
Biden is in my view more likely to start a war in Iran
"I bet the blacks in ZA also brought misery on themselves alone."
"Somehow, according to you, over 500mil people all living in the same region, are all victims of their ignorance and victim complex. The only think keeping them from great success is their loser mentality and if only they could be more like you they would win in life."
You rarely hear anything similar from anyone who had to deal with any hardship.
Btw in no way am I in a shitty situation in life. I have pretty much everything i want, but that has a lot to do with a specific location i was born. I could have been born 50km north, and id have to move to get a job, probably wouldnt go to university, id spend my whole salary on rent and food, and id be stuck in that stupid cycle for most of my life, just like many people i know are.
Maybe i should go around telling everyone they are losers and that they should be more like me
it smells like, Covid19 is one big perfectly timed biological weapon which reads like something from a first draft resident evil movie before someone beefed it up with flesh eating zombies.
Who could do that with the safe knowledge of "it won't affect MY family or circle of friends or nice people I know"?
