As i'm actually bored to play CA, I tried to join a few TDM pickups.
It was fun ! Cool experience, even if i was stomped.
So i decided to focus on this mode, i spent a few hours reading tutorials and watching some demo.
Problem : even if i understand the dynamics i can't reach the goal i fixed to myself at the beginning of the game. I tried to mimick the position of well known players but i failed each time.
In fact i do better running with my MG brainless than when i try to control/time a weapon and some armor.
I know i'm not an aimbeast, i'm only an average/low player, but i know i can do a lot better :D
Is anyone kind enough to help me ? i need someone who tells me what i do wrong/what i should do.
Maybe we could join the same pickup and talk about the game while playing ?

in my experience it came with a lot of pickup games, and noting to myself what positions and decisions worked and which did not.
tdm is more of position- decision kinda mode. every action should be countered with the most successful or (sometimes) unexpected move. which moves are the most preferable depending on the situation you will surely know when you played all basic maps more than 30, 50 times, and know by heart all the possible spawns and ''unfortunate'' enemy location.
p.s. since i played with/ against you, i know you've got good aim, so it's just a matter of practice, time and will you're able to put into this until you will be freely swim on maps during all 20mins
plus, there is a lot of playstyles you can put while playing tdm. nowadays ppl tend to do usual stuff, and only few really do something useful :s like, almost everyone focusing on reds (on most of the maps), and only few timing mega, for example, (or powerups to the :seconds will be handy as hell) and the one who do it successfully - usually very handy and useful in general to their team.
