I don't know a lot about this shit and esr probably has most WMO users of any site.

Bascially my WMO broke and it's the only mouse I can use for FPS...I tried sensei and DA2013, hated sensei, DA was fine, but nothing like the WMO. WMO just has this feeling...I don't know how to describe it :(

I would get another WMO but I when I play lol/dota/sc I need >900dpi otherwise and I don't want to constantly switch my mouse between games.

So I need a modern mouse that feels almost exaclty like the WMO.

Any suggestions would be really helpful

Repair the mouse or get another WMO. Instead of changing mice between games, change the Windows sensitivity or, if available, in-game sensitivty. Not like you need to worry about inter/extrapolation or pixel precision in LOL/DOTA/SC.

Use the search function/common sense next time. Not the first one to have this problem, to say the least. The general consensus is that there is no proper replacement in terms of raw feeling that the WMO is renowned for.

It's mandatory for MOBA to be "pixel precise" as well. One missclick and you're dead, just as in any FPS games.

Get an Aurora and put the internals into the WMO's shell. There's no better way to get a WMO-like mouse with higher CPI.

I'll give you that avoiding misclicks is important, but the things you click are large enough to where pixel precision is not nearly necessary.

it's not quite a sensei clone shape, but fits similarly and is more of an inbetween of the wmo and sensei, leaning towards the sensei.

We could recommend you similar hardware, but the void left in your heart cannot be filled with another mouse.

g100s, new abyssus, etc. etc.

the zowie fk is very similar is size and shape to the WMO. it's not as tall and it curves inwards in the middle, otherwise the length and width are pretty damn close.

Maybe the size, but there are a lot of similar size mouses aswell, but the feeling is a lot different. Im not expert on this topic, sorry but Im just a player who used WMO for years!
Then when I use FK, I always felt like something is unbalanced. So for me, FK is not a good replacement for my WMO.
Maybe its the closest one, I dont know, but I would rather change the sensor of WMO than getting any other mouse.

really odd i dont know why dacheng sells good replacement mousefeet, and WMO but with crappy mousefeet at the same time

this had nothing to do with the topic but it is about mouses : i have a question !!!

i bought a cheap mouse ( 4 euros or so ) and it is a 1200 DPI mouse ( written on the box ) how can i change it to 800 dpi ? ( taking consideration that it has no software and there is no way for me to change the dpi )

i know that i can change the sens in windows 7 configuration pannel but i want to change it to precisely 800 dpi.

800 / 1200 = 0.6666666666666667.

The closest thing is 0.625 Windows sensitivity in the registry. regedit.exe -> set HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse\MouseSensitivity to "7" and reboot.
