Pop-ups fucking up gamma (17 comments)

Whenever a Firefox Pop up announcing a update pops up, the gama from QL goes off. I have to vid_retart. Same happens with MSN Windows, etc.

How to fix this (besides deactivating Firefox Pop Ups etc)

Probably your best bet is to use r_ignorehwgamma assuming that's an option in QL.

Yeah, theres a similar cvar, does nothing besides setting the gama as low as it gets when a pop up pops up (?)

with r_ignorehwgamma 1 you have to use r_enablePostProcess 1 as well

change the r_gamma value ingame when that happens

I have r_gamma set to 1, i just do r_gamma 2 then 1, and it's back to normal

you could make a bind aswell
