well the IEG, silly lazy company that has been authorized by CPL to organize world season of the Korea didn't update their site. That site used for the 2006 ESWC korea qualifying, is now using for MIL2006 on the same page and MIL2006 Quake4 bulletin board is the wrong one. That bulletin board is also used for 2006 ESWC qualifying but they've titled that name on the board.
I think MIL2006 is a preliminary qualifying for WEF2006 in China. But I don't know why the hell they've loaded that content on the thecpl.co.kr.
The IEG company is both KODE5 and CPL local subdivision organization. They announced that KODE5 korea qualification will be holding CS only not including Quake4. I hope this won't happen again in CPL Korea.

What's the Quake scene like in Korea? I know they're like one of the biggest gaming communities in the world, but how's the Quake skill?

Koreans play only sc:bw. They have quite a few world-class wc3 players, but they had to leave the country in search of sponsors etc.

This event only 3 weeks to go, but I've never seen any advertisement as to CPL korea in any Korean esports comunity web site and even they didn't make its official web site so far. As far as I know, the IEG, local organizer for CPL Korea, was recently busy, because they engaged KODE5 event. However it has been a week since KODE5 finished.
I think that it is likely to be canceled. It's a shame if it's canceled due to the local organizer's fault and lack of preparation.

Schedule of this event will be changed 28 Oct. to 5 Nov. But he didn't answer whether CPL Korea would include Quake3 or not.

on the same forum thred "We will not have a Quake3 tournament currently because of the lack of interest for Quake here in Korea. If there is enough International interest in us hosting a Quake3 side, we can surely discuss the possibility. " by IEGbrooks from MBCgame who are hosting cpl korea
