People who say American football sucks are people who have never watched it or don't understand the speed and power and complexity of what happens in a game. Same as me saying "Soccer is boring as shit"...I see a bunch of tiny guys running around willy-nilly on a big field after a ball that they can't touch. People who have grown up watching and playing it see something infinately more complex and compelling.

American football players are some of the most impressive athletes in any sport. They're HUGE, fast, strong and have to deal with amazing levels of complexity on offense and defense. To me it's the most compelling spectator sport on the planet, with NCAA basketball (not the garbage that the pros play) as a reasonably close second.

As a side note: if the Raiders don't win this game, I'll eat one of my old boots...but I get to cook it however I like.

I totally agree with you. I was always thinking that football is gay, but i didn't know the rules and haven't watch a single game. Now, i think it's one of the best sports on the planet !

Tampa will win, their defense has been on fire in the last 2 games, raiders have never met a good defense before, the best defense they met this season was Kansas City who's 13th in the NFL in defense. Plus Tampa offense is on fire as well right now, I know football and i know Tampa will win, im a fan of neither so I dont favor neither, but I do have 50 bucks on Tampa already might as well put 500 E$ on it too :P

Ok i agree that Tampa Bay has the best defense in NFL, that's true. But Oakland has the best offense. So i think it will be a game between the best defense and the best offense. Buccs are not as good as Oakland in attacking. I don't like Buccs very much, but I cheer for Oakland.

My favorite team is Miami Dolphins, I can't believe they lost to New England Patriots. My second best is St.Louis Rams, but they didn't do any good this season, because of Kurt Warner. Third is Oakland.
