28gb. Apparently their reason for making most of it steam DL is to stop piracy... but as we all know that's bs - people pirate steam games and re-pack them all the time. I personally think it's just cost cutting, because they are forced to use DVD for pc game distrubution (instead of bluray because it's still not adopted enough) they probably don't want to spend the extra for more DVDs in the packaging.

Dragon Age II

pre-ordered, received the standard DVD case, all I found inside was a CD-KEY. Had to download the game which made me wonder, what did I spend my money on. Could have torrented it.

I think it was Counter Strike Source. But I could be wrong.

Test server is where? I am at 70Mb/s (~8.75MB/s) download BG/International and quite good upload too. I live in Bulgaria and I pay for it around 20€ with the TV 200 channels in the bundle. :/

Does not matter where the server is, same crap everywhere. To be fair, I get better speed during the day (~2-3mbit) but in the evening hours (when I am at home..) the network is totally overloaded.

To make it short, I moved to a new apartment where the former renter had dsl. Problem is, the line belongs to Telekom. My isp tried to rent the line from them for me, Telekom said, line does not exist. They kept trying for 3 months, then told me I should get a technician from Telekom myself to sort things out. Telekom technician arrived after 2 months, activated the line (which took him literally less than 5 minutes), told me everything is fine I could get 50mbit. Next, I called my isp, saying hey I got a line just activate my dsl on it. They said, wonderful!, now we only need the Telekom to approve this. Telekom does not have "capacities" to approve it until December. Sums up to 7 months of waiting for nothing. Now I am stuck with some wifi here. But as laws in Germany basically forbid public wifis (unless you want to go to jail because someone downloaded stupid stuff using your access point), I need to pay 30€ a month to use the wifi network of Telekom (oh, the irony). And what a surprise, it totally sucks.

I got that problem with GTA 5. Bought the DVD version thinking it would save me the trouble of downloading 60Gb at 700kb/s but after slipping 7 or so DVDs in my PC I still had to download several GBs and ended up playing the day after.

Won't happen again though, got 70Mb download speed now, that's even faster than the speed I can read DVDs at.
