So the HTC Vive got great feedback at the GAMESCOM in Germanialand last week for both the Tech Demos (Drawing in 3D, Stuff, etc.) and the Technical Specifications.
IMO especially the connection between a real room and the virtual space via lasers seems like a dealbreaker. I've also heard about some ridiculous amount of sensors to track you and the controllers.
Release is THIS YEAR
Headset, Controllers, 2x Lasers =<1000€
Has anyone tried it yet or can even compare it to the other VR-SYSTEMS? Has anyone tried it and is not impressed?
