Why would anyone give up on Quake Live?


This game is still awesome and there is nothing out there that gives the same feeling and yet despite this a lot of players that stuck around for the last 5-8 years have decided to abandon this game completely.

I still enjoy playing pubs and the occasional pickup so I'm still getting enough fun out of this game to stick around.

If you happen to see this thread and still come to ESR, why did you give up on QL? What are you playing these days?

I did have the chance to go see it with the homies over the weekend but I dipped because I got a chance at a nut bust.
