Quake Live DUEL tournament MAYHAM will hit Prague eSports club DISTRICT.Prague on Saturday, 4th of May. It is held on the occasion of 31st B-DAY of Hawr1x, guy that didn't do anything special for Czech and European Community.

Registration fee is set to 20 €uros and Prizemoney will be 400 €uros with whole half going to Winner of MAYHAM. Registration form. MAYHAM is mainly limited to Czech and Slovakian players, but if you would like to pay a visit and have some fun with us, you are welcome.

Thanks to our partner RAZER there will be hardware in almost same cost for top players and with pleasant company of HAM we are looking forward to enjoy great tournament in best gaming café in Central Europe.

DreamHack Summer was this year kind of special for Quake Live community, because it was first big event, where Quake Live TDM was played at LAN.

It is quite a long time since Intel Extreme Masters hit Hanover at its World Finals and you have seen for sure a lot of interviews and movies from this great event. Also Czech expedition was at CeBIT and here are some of our movies we took with some of our stars.

I would like to start with unHuman, really great German guy that did a lot of stuff for Quake community and we took a bright look to history of Quake and also think about its future. Check this out.

Second place was achieved by Beast from East, Cooller. We tried to solve some high difference and aimed our questions to his opponents and future plans. I'am TALKING iT!

Winner of Global Finals and second time Champion of Quake Live, was rapha. We can't forget to ask some question to this great person of gaming and best Quake Live player of the World as well. Buffed, Beautiful and Bitchin'

NecroRaisers started in 1997 as a Quake World Team registered at id Software as one of first teams in the World. We are glad, that finally we are ready to pay back and show our appreciation to Quake community and return something to you, players of Quake. Players will join a Single Elimination (bo3) brackets with a bo5 Grand Finals and a 3rd place match. We continue in tradition of INSTAGIB bejbe! tournaments, set up earlier this year. Czech Quake is starting Pro League 2010 for Quake Live Duel. This competition is aimed for Czech and Slovakian players, that advanced to Pro League by the series of Open Cups. Czech Quake devided players by the level of skills and only best players recieved Licencion to play in Pro League 2010. Play Day for each round is set on Sunday, and we are starting this Sunday, 17th of January at 14:00 CDT.

There are 16 players in Pro League and Grand Finals will take place at LanCraft* in March (5th - 7th). Players will start by basic groups and best 8 players will advance to Play-Offs where Double Elimination Brackets are prepared. All matches will be BO3 and Grand Finals are BO5, where player without loose will gain one point advantage.

* Quake 3 TDM will be played at LanCraft in Krnov, as well as Counter Strike 1.6 and StarCraft - more iNFO SOON

There are 400 euros as a PrizeMoney in Pro League 2010 and half of this money will earn winner and Champion of Winter Season 2010.

You can find players such as Krystof "Krysa" Cerny and Jan "Jocko" Balada in Pro League. Both players are right now playing in 4Kings team and they will be challenged by another great players such as Jan "Lahire" Mateja ( Quake 4 Admin of Czech Quake ) or Pavel "eJo" Cihlar ( Quake Live Nations Cup Admin). After really successful Trip to Vác, NecroRiaisers decided to cover more audience by creating two important pages.

FaceBook - FaceBook is phenomenon of today. Some people hate it, some admire it. It doesn’t matter, on which side you are. All the stuff at FaceBook is about info you are willing to give to people on "the other side" as every social network.

NecroRaisers will use FaceBook to cover all events and news that will be published all around in every media in Czech Republic and Europe. We believe that we will be able to collect some fans that see, that something special is growing here in Czech Republic. Something, that might is already helping Czech Community and might be inspiriting also for other clans all around Europe.

GamePark - GP is biggest portal in Czech Republic which had recently canceled its eSports section, that was aimed on big world and European events.

Because we think, that it is important to keep players from this portal up to date, we started Official Blog on this portal. We are going to aim more on Czech and Slovakian Events (Such as CyberCafé League) and also pick biggest international action that will be presented there. Because of politics of GamePark, it wasn’t possible to cover Czech events in eSport section that was administrated by Stanislav "DriverX" Mikes.

GamePark is more electronic magazine, than programming portal, and information will be published in way, that everyone can understand.

NecroRaisers were in Vác, where Infinity LAN was held. We traveled light, when 15 peoples were in NecroRaisers BUS powered by ReadyTrans. In this Express were Players of Counter Strike 1.6 Team, HitPoint crew, PlayZone and NecroRaisers redactors and Kobra, our FaceBook admin. All under Lead and High Level Communications skills of Pat & Mat. This crew supposed to prepare coverage in best possible way and do some promo for Defeaters, SUiCiDE and fofos.sk as well.

On Friday NecroRaisers visited place of LAN that was part of industrial complex in Vác and then moved to pension, where players and whole crew was living for whole weekend. Since our way took almost half of the day, we enjoyed hospitality of local pub and hotel itself and great Beer server at bar. Photos

On Saturday, we moved to Infinity Csnarok LAN #4 and took our places in BYOC and Press area and joined group from Online Gaming Community lead by beatifull lady, Adrienn. Our Team stared coverage and our Players and Fans enjoyed some great games as well.

Quake Live tournament welcomed few players from Hungary and Pavel "Hawr1x" Kymla.
- Since my skills are stable during last 10 years and I have finally achieved low level which means no troubles for Dash and feeder as they slightly advanced to play-offs. My main work was chearleading and managing NecroRaisers - so I signed just for fun and I have enjoyed great ownages from both players. I love boths guys Rails and LGs as well. On the other hand, I have met friends that wisited us at LanCraft in Rymarov and especially chat with Br4zil and Zolee was great.
Thank you guys for the tournament and congratulations to Pilot, that won finals and send Dash to second place.

Counter-Strike 1.6 Team with lineup Martin "zigurat" Slanec, Tomas "zEro" Bojanovsky, Petr "petras" Funk, Ondrej "arsas" Lhota and Milan "pepik" Musil joined the tournament powered by Big Shock and really good mood.

In Basic Groups, we have met fofos.sk, nintai, dzsodzsesz and teamwork. NecroRaisers.ASUS managed to won all games besides the one against TeamWork at de_nuke.
We comfortably advanced to Play-Offs from second place and have met Defeaters in really tight game of first round. Second game was against stYle, that were defeated. Winners Brackers Finals: TeamWork! Second measure of powers against TW was with same result as the first one, this time on map de_inferno with results 09:16.

We fell down to Losers Bracekts and rest of games was on schedule on Sunday so we chear and support for clans from CZ/SK and than moved back to our hotel. We had discuss some tactics on our bright new ASUS ROG G51VX that supports our redactors and players. This book is so fckn sweet that it came to my mind, that it might have dissappear ... several times (cz) Hawr1x | Not so funny, when you realize that from DreamHack BYOC my €1337 Cammera and €222 Notebook was stolen. I blame myself for that mistake, but WFT?!

Sunday started pretty well when we managed to beat quite easily team stYle 16:8 in Losers Brackets Finals. Tough night guys? On the other hand, this game really improved our mood and will to get proper payback with TeamWork that we needed to beat twice in order to be champions of Vác.
Grand Finals against TeamWork. Hungarian squad with DSt, Fi14, kic$i, smilee and SoniC in lineup showed us, that their skills are supreme to NecroRaisers and they allowed us to win only really high and at the end, they won whole tournament.

Clan Necroraisers started The Group of Elite Teams which main goal is propagation of Czech Gaming Scene and setting up basic rules in Czech and Slovakian gaming community.

Starting members of GET are eSuba, Snoopy and Necroraisers.

Besides Roadtrip and Medial Activities, GET`s first session will be next week where basic rules will be set and main tournaments for National Championships will be set.

Necroraisers are about to present Czech and European gaming community in SCORE Magazine!

SCORE is biggest magazine in Czech republic and Slovakia and it has 21 000 prins for each issue. It reaches about 51 000 readers and Necroraisers will present Progaming in this magazine. 5 pages about gaming will be presented in January.

Right now, we are collecting oppinions of players, managers and audience about this topic.

I would like to ask you to tell me your point of view on this matter. It must be signed by your real name and nickname ( Pavel "Hawr1x" Kymla ) and we will choose few of them to be translated and added to our article. Feel free to tell me your oppinion in comment to this news post.

Because of this presentation The Group of Elite Teams has been builded with eSuba, Snoopy and Necroraisers teams in it.
- Main goal of GET is presentation of community, supporting of players and organisations, setting up rules and main leagues, that will be running in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

GET is open to every elite team in CZ/SK and we are going to do some really crazy stuff in future.
- We would like to show G7 Teams that they need to do something more for gaming community, not just write articles and tell stuff like "we dont go to your LAN"

After DreamHack Expedition, that showed some decent skills of Necroraisers Team, we decided to prepare another expedition!

This time, we are going to Infinity LAN, which is held in old shipyard factory, which seems to me as a amazing place to play some decent games.

NecroRaisers Express powered by ReadyTrans will starts its way in Prague and will continue thru Brno and Bratislava to Vác.

On board of our bus will be players from eSuba, Suicide and other Czech and Slovakian Clans. Our players will represen Czech Republic and Slovakia in Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4, Counter-Strike 1.6 and Quake Live. We are also trying to pick up Counter-Strike: Source team.

NecroRaisers will feature Counter Strike 1.6 team with Tomas "zEro" Bojanovsky, Petr "petras" Funk, Milan "Pepik" Musil, Martin "zigurat" Slanec and Ondrej "arsas" Lhota. In Quake Live, Pavel "Hawr1x" Kymla will show his skills ( That are stable ... low/mid :)

In my recent post about Necroraisers clan I have mentioned, that we are going to DreamHack Winter and players that will go to Jönköping to represent Czech and Slovakian gaming community.

Now DreamHack is over and I would like to tell you few words about our journey.

Counter-Strike 1.6: Necroraisers were forced to change the lineup for this tournament, and we decided to pick our good friends that were playing for nEophyte e-sports club. Tomas "zEro" Bojanovsky`s team with Petr "petras" Funk, Milan "Pepik" Musil, Martin "zigurat" Slanec and Ondrej "arsas" Lhota were bit depreciated by Czech and Slovakian community before DreamHack. On the other hand, we knew well that they can do their job and after Basic Groups of BYOC qualifications, Necroraisers showed that they deserve to join Main Tourney. After amazing games in BYOC Play-Off, we managed to made it to main tournament and our goal was fulfill!

Necroraisers faced k1ck, darkside and SK Gaming in basic groups and our guys did pretty well, when they tight with first two teams they lost with SK Gaming which was only loose in tourney so far. At the end k1ck were better by only one point that decided, that here, our journey will end.

Counter-Strike 1.6 Team did great job and showed great games and we are really happy, that hey managed to get Czech Team so far in the tournament.

StarCraft: Jakub "CROW" Sedlacek was playing in BroodWar tournament, but his way ended after he faced Brat_ok, one of best Russian players. CROW decided, that he will join one of tournaments in StarCraft II after his end in SC:BW. Jakub did really well, when he managed to win it and claim BetaKey to StarCraft II

TrackMania: After some troubles in Tourney Area caused by bad admin approach! HakkiJunior was bit despaired and he get out of tourney bit earlier, than he would like to. On the other hand Sandro showed some amazing driver techniques that he learned from our drivers in Necroraisers Bus, that took 26 CZ/SK players to Sweden. Hakki decided, that he want his revenge and he joined Need For Speed: Shift tournament in Norton booth, and he finished second which is really great for such a young player.

Counter-Strike: Source : Another Czech guys was on fire at DreamHack, and I would like to send congratulations to Sneix and his team, representing Reason Gaming.

Team of reporters will be covering main tournaments, especially Quake Forever, Starcraft, Trackmania, Counter-Strike and DotA.

We are also bringing YOYO Tech's great Trackmania drivers HakkiJunior and Sandro. In Starcraft, Jakub "Crow" Sedlacek, who competed in China's WCG, and Counter-Strike Team (h4, Gr3g1, cheesE, skreqo and nim) will play for NecroRaisers.

NecroRaisers are proud to announce that fans, players and redactors might use our Northern Express. Our Express will move on Wednesday, 25th November from Prague and it is returning from Jönköping on Sunday, 29th November.

Yellow bus of Student Agency will be ready for 30 to 55 fans, players and redactors, that would like to travel to DreamHack, but don`t have money to fly, don`t have car available and certain amount of money.

This Bus will start its trip in Prague, and on its way across Germany and Denmark will ride to Jönköping. According to Google Maps, we should be able to pick up players in Dresden, and Berlin.

If we manage to fill Beulas Cygnus, this trip will cost you 150 €, but if there will be enough travellers to fill Beulas Aura, you can get to Jönköping for only 100 €. Aura has even better name.

Other Expenses, you should be ready for are Entrance Fee to DreamHack ( 45 € ), and some Hotel if you don`t want to stay in sleeping area or visit DreamHack at all.

First big event for Necroraisers was World GameMaster Tournament powered by ASUS and Intel, where our team managed to took 2nd place after heartbreaking finals game against eSuba, biggest Czech Team. Necroraisers squad was consisted of Slovakian players: h4, skreqo, nim, Gr3g1 and chEES. Besides Counter-Strike 1.6, Call of Duty 4 was played and owned by Power Gaming with paradox, _king, Mazarini, Luboshmir and MISAK in lineup. In TrackMania two best drivers were YoYo Tech`s hakkiJunior and Sandro and in finals of FIFA 10 two players from SnoopY Game owned the rest.

NecroRaisers are proud to announce, that Jakub "Crow" Sedlacek is right now in World Cyber Games in Chengdu and he will play StarCraft with the best players of the World as a only Czech player in this competition.

Right after his return to Czech Republic, Crow will move to his favorite place to own - DreamHack. We are also bringing some players to Quake Live Tournament and NR are happy to help YoYo Tech to get theirs best drivers to Jönköping ( in free translation from Varjag dialect ... superb ping :), Mecca of European gaming.

NecroRaisers managed to partnership with SCORE Magazine, ASUS, Sennheiser and Garmin. Our main goal is building best support to Czech and Slovakian players, so they can approve that they are also part of The TOP.

The guys from Czech Quake are back with some more Sunday action and the two following Quake Live tournaments for you:

- Duel Cup #4 is dedicated to all European Players, and players from CZ/SK who already got their "License" and are therefore banned from Open Tournaments.

- Czech Quake Open is the tournament that allows Czech and Slovakian players to get a License. The License allows them to join Czech Quake Pro League which will provide a total of 500€ cash prize. Winner will take 250€, second 175€ and third 75€.

QCZ will welcome players such as burn3d, Fanatic, ahzaz, Mad or Dark in the Duel Cup #4. burn3d will attempt to reach another 1st rank, but Hawr1x and his amazing Grenades and Gauntlet skillZ will be a tough opponent! ( GG skillZ )

A new round of challengers are going to fight in last Duel Cup of Summer season. I`am proud to welcome GaRpY, madix, Free and Gandhi in our cup.

InstantCup is BO5, Single Elimination tournament and it will be open for 16-32 players according to SignUps.

Duel Cup #3 - QuakeCon Special was held this Sunday at #QL.cz and we were able to follow great tournament which bring us close and amazing games in Quake Live.

At the end, Burned managed to win this tourney, when he Beats prox in WB Finals. Kobelenkel made his way up the Losers brackets after defeating Free and blajnd. prox didn`t show up, and he is therefor third.

Check MATCH OF TOURNAMENT in House of Decay where blajnd got some serious work to do and much to say to nite. Both players are members of Team inAction and they stand by that name. GG Both. There are more VODs from tournament here.

Czech Quake prepared a third Duel Cup on Quake Live that will help you to spend some time playing Quake while waiting for the Grand Finals of QuakeCon Tournaments.

For all of you that can't make it to QuakeCon this year, our online tournament that will take place on Sunday, 16th August.

The matches in Duel Cup are BO3 and we will use double elimination brackets for 32 - 64 players. The maplist of the tournament is the same as QuakeCon so you will be free to choose from all 7 maps.

As usual, you can pre-register by writing !ADD and your NATIONALITY in this news post. The admin of the tournament is Hawr1x and you have to check-in from 06:00 CDT to 07:00 CDT on IRC Channel #QL.cz.

Tournament itself will start on 07:00 CDT and selected matches will be broadcasted in CzEnglish (Example).

The next QL Instant Cup by Czech Quake will be a Trinity Special and will be played on Sunday, 2nd of August. As usual, the Instant Cup will be bo5 and single elimination. In the last Instant Cup, GaRpY owned the place and defeated our first champion, PURRI in the semi-finals (demos).

This time, I will be even more tough and you have to play Trinity as a first map in each match. The reason is that there will be another tournament running, Decay's House Special, and Trinity can't be missed.

PURRI got no problems at all in whole Single Elimination Tournament and he managed to won this cup pretty easily.

Lahire is going to run Quake Live Duel Cup this Sunday ( 19th of July ) We are starting at 06:00 CDT on IRC Channel #QL.cz and QuakeLive.com.

There are 32 slots open for players and some others are waiting in Queue. Players will face double elimination brackets in order to win this cup. Good Luck & Have Fun!

This news is dedicated to all the newbies and beginners in Quake Live. Czech Quake is about to hold a Newbie 2 Lama Tournament, it will be the lowest level of our competitions in Quake Live.

ID Software announced that Quake Live will enter its Open Beta on 24th February and everybody will be free to join this game. Right now we would like to invite all players that are afraid to join "big actions" and are not sure about their level. Because no professional and advanced players can play in the tourney, so we might expect some fair games. Second reason is that Hawr1x ran out of opponents, since he is borderline between newbies and lamas and everybody around beats him! We will use this tournament to explain basic tactics and strategies in Quake Live and notice basic mistakes new players are usually doing. The deadline to sign up is set to 28th February and basic groups will start on 1st March!

Another week passed really fast, I was able to damage another car during it, and what is important, we are here with some updates and info about the Quake Nations Cup.
Quake Live hits us really directly and we were able to watch really impressive games on Monday. Same it was for Quake 3 competitions and its "bloody Sunday". Quake World is starting basic groups along with Quake 4. And what does Quake 2 says about it?

QuakeWorld is starting Basic Groups by its first week on this Sunday.
The tourney will be opened at 13:00 CDT by match Czech Republic -vs- Germany . Defenders of QNC QW title, team Finland will fight with Poland and the schedule will continue by another two games one hour later. Denmark will face Netherlands and Hungary play against Norway.
Quake 2 NDML was cancelled and nobody gives me note, that they wants to play. Discussion.
Quake 3 got Week 4 Matches ready and scheduled, you can place some bets as well.
GTVs are ready and operational. Admins take all the stuff easy and there will be ShoutCasted game in CzEnglish!
Quake 4 Nations Cup will be open tomorrow by the game Czech Quake -vs- Sweden . We are really looking forward to it.
Sweden is defending champion and we want to show them, how we improved our skills (especially talkative) before this season. Week 1 & Week 2 Games.
Quake Live started Week 1 and we were witnesses of really amazing games.

The next competitions of the Quake Nations Cup are starting really soon. Quake Live and Quake 4 are coming up. Quake 2 and QuakeWorld are still in phase of sign-ups and what is going on in Quake 3 is available in several great coverages all around.


Quake Live is hosting 16 teams divided into 4 groups. There will be one qualifier round for B Squads of United Kingdom and Poland.
- This game is supposed to be played on Monday. You can find out more at #QL.cz IRC channel
Quake 4 welcome 5 nations and there will only be one group, in which all teams will face each other. 4 teams will advance to play-off.
- Quake Live and Quake 4 matches will be casted in CzEnglish, if you know somebody, who can do it in real English, let us know.
Quake 3 The admins will face a challenge this Sunday, because there are 7 games going on almost simultaneously.
- Be sure to check schedule and place some bets!
Quake 2 seems to be somehow canceled, because there aren't enough teams.
- I don't know nothing about the Quake 2 scene to be true, but if team captains would like to play Nations Cup in Quake 2, let me know and we might figure out how to start this competition as well.
QuakeWorld sign ups are almost ove with 7 teams in, we may expect some great games there.

Quake Nations Cup 2009 is getting closer and closer to start in another two games and a 3rd one is opening its Sign Ups!

QuakeWorld Nations Cup is opening on 19th January and all nations got exactly ONE WEEK to Register to JohnNy_cz, who will be the head admin.
All important information about QuakeWorld is available on the official Tournament Page so check it out!

Quake 2 NDML is in the middle of the Sign Up period. So far, there are 8 national teams in it. Little birdie told me that the registration will be open till the end of January, so spread the info about QNC everywhere you can.

Quake 3 admins have caught the first cheater, so team Russia gets a new captain, mr.Jibo! check out the Der Quaker Interview.
We were able to see some great games on GTV during the first two weeks of competition and if you have missed some matches, you can check all the results and demos on the official Tournament Page.

Quake 4 and Quake Live Sign Up period is coming to its end and the last possibility for you and your national team to be part of this season's QNC is Sunday 18th January.
Right now, there are 5 teams in Quake 4 and 13 teams in Quake Live. If you still want to play, just check out this post.

This party is starting on 10th of April and finishes on 12th April and it is hold by Czech Quake in cooperation with Czech StarCraft scene.

We are going to play duel competitions in QuakeWorld, Quake 3 and Quake 4. Besides Quake tournaments, you will be also free to join LaserGames tourney!!!

Because of location of Rymarov, this party might be really interesting for Poland, German, Austrian and Hungarian players. Few of them is already signed in.

I bet with Jump (Czech StarCraft Leader) about pizza, that we will fill all 123 places of this LAN by Quakeres, so I hope, that I will win.

Last year, we were able to watch first year when Quake Nations Cup competitions and winning nations found themselves on NO HUNTING SiGN Trophy. Right now, there is list of 3 best countries in every game of last season.
When all Quake competitions will finish this year, we will change current list of countries on NO HUNTING sign by metal plaquette for each game with basic lineup of Nations Cup winners and second set of lists for this year winners will be added.
I hope, that one day, you will see my point of creating NO HUNTING SiGN as a Trophy for Quake Nations Cup

Quake World competition will probably start during February.

Quake 2 NDML 9 has opened its gate and you are free to sign up your national team. All info needed can be found here at NDML Official Page.
First round of Basic Groups will be starting on 26th January.
There are already Poland, Spain and UK National Team in the game and, as usual, really strong admin team: wision, Gravgon and __d34d.

R U RDY 4 CzEnglish?! :-) Happy new year full of best stuff, good mood and successes.

We are here with some update about Euro Open Cup powered by ASUS. I was long since last info about this competition, but - believe or not - EOC is still running! This competition, that brings together 22 European nations, is running in Quake 3, Quake 4 and Quake Live and here is some info about upcoming games.

Quake 3 competitions were divided into 3 Divisions and we already knows winners of 2nd and 3rd Division. After finals in Div 3, grF took first place beating Eviili and Div 2 finals made kos really happy when he vanished Legend out of all maps.
Division 1 Finals will bring you really great game and you all will be able to watch K1llmaster and Spart1e in fight for Radeon HD 2600 graphics card by ASUS.

Quake 4 bring us just before Grand Finals, where Jan "Lahire" Mateja and Andrzej ">o_,," Bartodziej will face each other in battle for 120GB External HDD by ASUS.
Lahire beat his college in arms, Jan "Kyng" Marek in order to gets into finals and "duckie" won his game against Nick "stalker" Tsarenko.

Quake Live competitions are bit delayed, but there were more players in play-offs so we are now in phase of semifinals.
Two Poland players are right now waiting for opponents that will stand between Bogdan "bodzo" Mazur and Krzysiek "Blanka" Wozniak in theirs wish to show all European players that Poland right now dominates in Quake Live.

Opponents for those two players will be known after these two games:
Felix "smoke" Pafel -vs- Richard "Weird" Krooman
Niko "R1EP4" Rehor -vs- Stefan "Spartaz0rd" Conoci

Winner of first game will face bodzo and second winner will stand against Blanka. All matches are BO5 and since Play-Offs are single elimination, there is no space for mistakes, because they means end of all hopes.

Czech Quake`s Euro Open Cup started Quake Live TDM competition. Same as Duel, this tourney is powered by ASUS, and winer will receive some MicroSD Readers. Basic Groups were successfully prepared and 20 signed teams are now free to play first matches. There are 4 groups with 5 teams and you don't need to follow week schedule exactly, but be sure to finish all your games in upcoming 5 weeks!

Basic Groups in TDM are again BO3 and you will receive points according to results of each game. Best 4 teams will advance to Single Elimination play-offs that will be BO5 - as in Duel. Rules

If you wont be able to contact captain of your opponent, feel free to contact one of admins, and they will provide you with email on each captain. Signed teams

Each Captain will also vote for best player of the tournament. Captains will be ask to vote for best player before the finals and they cant vote for player in theirs squad. Best player will receive title of best player of tournament and special prize by ASUS.

In Quake Live Duel and Quake 4 Duel, players gets another week to finish all matches and report results correctly to my mail. Play-off tree will be published on 23rd November.

As stated in my previous post, the Czech Quake guys are in the process of organising the Euro Open Cup. The deadline to sign up was set for today. But because the scheduling of the first games will begin next week, there are a few extra days left for anyone else who wishes to enter. The new deadline is set on the 24th October at midnight!

The basic groups will be announced on Saturday 25th of October and players will be free to play their matches from the 26th of October. After the group stage, a single elimination playoff will take place.

Right now, there are only 11 players signed up for Quake 4 and 33 players for Quake Live. You can check out the current sign-ups list on quake.cz. Considering the size of the current communities for these games it's quite a good turn-out, but we would like to see some more players in this season of the Euro Open Cup and the first season ever for Quake Live. The Rules will be updated during this week.

After Legie started the Euro Open Cup on Quake 3, I have decided to launch two more games under this name. Czech Quake is going to hold both Quake 4 and Quake Live cups.

REPPIE, DAMIAH, SOMBRA, NITE and BODZO are the names of the Oktoberfest 2008 winners!

On Sunday, we managed with JohnNy_cz, wision, Legie, Shebin and eJo to prepare some really special action for you, Quakers.

The BERNARD OKTOBERFEST was a huge tournament with all five Quake series games in it. Right now, we have our winners and owners of the Beer Kegs from Bernard and Beer Glasses. On the Beer Glasses, which will be made by the end of this week, will be the Quake logo of each game, the name of winner and also a serial number. We are starting this new tradition and this competition will be held every year.

QuakeWorld tournament brought together, Reppie and Bulat. The Dutch player was better at the end and you should feel free to check the demos and enjoy some decent QW!

Quake 2 tournament was changed from Single to Double elimination and Damiah faced PURRI in the grandfinals. Demos from this game are available at the DemoSquad!

Quake 3 tournament was the largest tourney of the Oktoberfest. SombrA and HACK were fighting for our prizes. The Spanish player was better and he definitely deserved a keg of cerveza. Demos are ready here.

Quake 4 drift course was held by nite and abso. A 5th map had to decide the amazing games shown by both players and you should definitely check out nite's demopackage.

Quake Live was the last game of our tourney and it was one of the first prized tournaments. We tested this web browser game to the bone and Bodzo with Weird were the last men standing in the Single Elimination brackets.

I would like to thank you all for coming, I hope you had fun and congratulations to our winners. We can't forget our main partner of this tourney, Bernard brewery and I can definitely promise you, that this wasn't the last beer in the Czech Quake tournaments!

Play-Offs of Trnávka 2k8 QuakeWorld Duel Tourney.

The Trnávka 2008 LAN party is over. Satan`s Proxies won the Quake 3 TDM tournament, Johnny_cz prevailed in the QuakeWorld tournament and Krysa ruled in Quake 4 Duel.

As for now, I would like to announce - this is going to be of special interest for the polish players - that, thanks to Czech Quake and its cooperation with the Czech StarCraft scene and Jump, the LanCraft will feature FPS games.
We will have a Quake 3 tournament for sure and we are considering to add QuakeWorld, Quake 2 and Quake 4 as well. All tournaments will be played on duel (1v1).

LanCraft will be held in Rymarov at the beginning of March. The exact date will be announced at the end of September.

Czech Quake launched a new section for Quake audience, the Czech Quake Movie Production. The lead of Czech Quake Movie Production was entrusted to Silu. Silu is very well known in movie making community because of his high quality Quake dedicated movies.

His latest project was called COLOSSEUM, The Quake Nations Cup movie and was very well received.

There are currently two decent projects on schedule in Czech Quake Movie Section. The first project is called Trnavka, The Movie and it will contain frags and shots from action itself. Over the years, Trnavka became acknowledged as the best "by players for players" Quake LAN in Czech Republic.

The second project is more interesting though, since Silu managed to get in touch with no one smaller than Jibo. Silu will prepare his official frag movie. Jibo actively participates in movie making and he himself delivered the demos that will be in the movie.

Czech Quake website made it to 1337! Recently, we posted our 1337th news on Czech Quake, a website dedicated to all Quake series games and actions here in CZ, SK and Europe.

Our website has been working with its current shape for the last two years, and we are right now preparing a bright new webbie that will suite to all the needs of the Czech and Slovakian Quake community.

Our celebrations will start this weekend in Galanta where Quake 3 & Quake 4 duel competitions will be played and everybody is welcome to come there and play (More informations).

The golden nail of this season for the Czech and Slovakian Quake community will be Trnávka 2008 where players will play the following tournaments: QuakeWorld Duel, Quake 3 TDM and Quake 4 Duel.
At this point we managed to overfill :-) all the place where this action will be played, so nobody else can join us and play, but if you want to meet the main players and clans from Czech and Slovakia, you should definitely come to have some - a lot of - beers with us on September, 9th in Mestecko Trnavka.

Because we are right now celebrating our 1337th post, we also decided to prepare a special competition for you.

1337 CONTEST: Add your suggestions about the new website and what it should contain. The second part of this contest is to write me how it would be for you to have the QuakeCon: Winter Edition held in Prague in December.
