I will explain, you completely did not get it.

he is very aware he called him a chink, and at the same time complain about racism. that WAS the joke. it is a very common style of joke. here is a similar one:

"I don't fucking swear, ever."

These self contradictive sentances are considered funny by some, which is why he posted it. What is more funny in my eyes is that you didn't get it and tried correcting him etc. That is infact, quote, 'lolz' to me.
