didnt really like the first trailer tbh. It is in no way to be compared to "the great gamingmovies" like 4K.Evolution, the badge series, xsu or fooze.
And they could do without huge annoying banners.

Downloading the 2nd trailer now, i hope it improved much, if not, the movie doesnt deserve the attention it gets.

too bad that all the effort put in advertising this movie could have better been in making the movie. (i remember almost every registered esreality member getting a private msg with a link to the movie, and now the huge banner and pics)

Now I can download them from the mirrors, but I can't watch them properly, I've installed DivX, xvid, even tried Gordian Knot but nothing works :(

I cant help laughing when watching this trailer.

You see 2 guys doing some suicidal rocket attack on 1 guy in some lame ass RA mod on normals maps wich is almost never played, then 3 seconds later you see the words "SKILLED" flashing at your screen, and if that diddnt make you laugh then the words "THE MOVIE YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR" will.....

on the first trailer you see 2 guys coordinate an attack on an enemy.

I can understand how someone like you cant understand the skills it takes to share information regarding the position of an enemy and then suprising him from both sides , closing in on him and with 1 shoot fired by both players killing him.

maybe from where you come from ra considers to be a "lame ass" mode - deck is a map under warren which is very popular map .

players like you can really take the fun out of creating something for this community.

well I have played alot of games of RA with Orange and I know he is skilled in the game UT.

The thing is that you couldn't see your tactics on that guy. And from what I still remember from ra I hated it that players used kamikaze rockets against me to get an kill.

Overall these trailers are nice, but not nice enough to get all this attention. I do hope the full movie is better.

First of all, you dont know nothing about me or my skills, second of all, if you make a trailer like this or movie of any kind you should learn to handle with critisizm.

im sure that orange (who is playing for an EC clan) knows little about coordinated attacks to vital parts of a map yeah.

There are hundreds of UT movies. 3-5 of them are anything special. From the trailers it seems this will be one among "the rest". Any of those contributed just as much to the community as you do with your movie, don't understand what are you doing promoting with banners on numerous gaming sites-

spend more time making the movie better than wasting time with pointless promo trailers. if the movies good then people will download it. word of mouth is better than increadibly annoying, awfully coloured adverts.

That banner makes this page look great!

Now if you could just make all text blinking, size 7pt and yellow on white background, it would be even better.. Also, put "Optimized for 60Hz" at the top.

THIS TRAILER WAS GREAT

I liked how you showed the rave in the intro stills as to give us the message that gaming is just like dancing, well except without the actual dancing of course.

I also love the way you made a statement about how the gaming scene over the last few years have grown in size and become HUGE but still are severly lacking in QUALITY
- by using an extremley redundant 1024x576 video resolution that still manages to look like crap, and keeping the sound filesize 10times of what it needs to be by using PCM instead of mp3 or ogg or whatever, very clever!

As for the actual gameplay part of the movie it was just pure brilliance, if that was a taste of what to come then my pants are tingling with excitement for the full movie!

i think any new movie is great aslong as its not a complete waste of time watching it and even though the trailers dont show much that dosent mean it will be crap. i think most of the reason people are having a go at mission from god is beacuse of the annoying advert which isnt really anoying now.

quite interesting that someone feels the need to shell out moeny on advertising for a frag movie (if it did cost him to have it on here and clanbase). the only reason i can think is that he has spent alot of time on it and thinks its worth hyping up. well i for one hope its going to be good even if the trailer is a bit of a waste of time.

oh btw... missionfromgod man, did you know there are other UT movies already? try looking at those and compare a few certain things.. then look if its worth spending money on banners. if you didnt spend any money, I feel compelled to say; the people that put it up didnt even look at it forehand :)

btw, my 2nd movie is coming soon :) I would never say that its the movie that you've all been waiting for but I feel save to say it will be better then this ;)

nice of you to make something for us to watch.

but i think there are a few things bad things about this :x

- resolution is a bit weird (widescreen?)
- quality is ok, but almost 30mb's for a clip that's 1m30s long and contains mostly pictures is pretty bad :x
- i can't comment on the frags cos i don't play ut
- unfortunetely, this "trailer" isn't really making me want more, but never the less, i will probably still download the full thing to watch it.

I just hope that the quality/filesize ratio is sorted out BEFORE you release the whole thing :)

The idea of the movie itself is not bad, but you must seriously work on the quality.
I recommend you to encode in Xvid and use Virtual Dub for the sound compression.
