Great demo. For once it ran smoothly on my PC too, although every so often it goes into slow motion. Who can explain the intricacies of UT2003 demos...

seem go slow becaiuse in the ini files, u can decide the fps count of demo recording.. default is 30 probably stevo have setted it to 60?

dunno, i'vent see the demo and aniways my pc don't do much 50 frame x second

I have a Ti4600 and p4 2.4G but somehow I still get under 40fps in the botmatch benchmark...

what speed ram u have ?
i take it it is ddr ?

40fps is poor, i get better than that with a xp1700 (clocked to 1.7) and a gf3 ti200 (clocked over ti500 speeds).

I guess whatever ram goes on the regular p4 motherboards. Running at default speed. Have tried overclocking cpu and ram but it doesn't seem to give much of a boost so I put them back to defaults.

As above, 2.4GHz, 256MB RAM and a Ti4600. I've tried all sorts but can't get my framerate on UT2003 any better. Was considering getting a 9700 to test and see if it made any difference, but I don't know anyone near me that has one.

I think u should try get an extra 256 mbram.. dunno if it has somethin to say, but i felt it when i went from 256 to 512.

And then you need to check if u disabled all the settings in ut that has an impact on CPU but not on the game itself... i went from 45 fps to 57 in botmatch, just by disabling a few settings in ut2003.ini... dont have my ut here at work so cant tell you which settings to change.. but somethin in ur comp or ut2 is set up wrong :)

sujoy, i had such probs too. I'm on 2100+ xp 512ddram and ti 4600 (the one with 128ddram). I solved my probs now by just installing all the new drivers (watch out for having the hyperion 4on1 installed). The biggest problem was my onboard soundkard. Onboard sound just takes big fps impact so i bought a new soundcard, now i have +20 fps in the average.

I think you have 40 fps in 4on4 online play. I dont know where those fps probs come from, i am just experiencing that lan 4on4 runs much more smoothly than internet.

My benchmark doesnt use sound! Do you have a different benchmark program?

try setting reducemouselag=false
it gave me somthing like 40fps

I have all the obvious stuff from the menus turned off.
