feels too much like the contenders movies. even the cfg looks identical. you should make your own style and use that.

with that said if i made a frag movie i'd use the get quaked 3 cfg any day since it's perfect lol.

pretty good otherwise though.

Not at all! There are many frag and defrag movies with great cfgs that look different to contenders: hate freestyle 2 and dorftrottel, for example.

It's just that the contenders cfg was quite unique looking, even with the fov of the weapons, combined with the same music choice of the first contenders kind of makes it feel like it was too inspired by it. Not that that's a bad thing, but it does bring down the 'originality' points, if it was intended to be a similar style.

I can understand the criticism but i never had the intentions to try and copy entik. I had actually forgotten that the song had been used in tc1 because I haven't seen it in years. but the editing style ended up coming out the same because its just the way the song goes I guess.

The cfg is basically the default q3 mme cfg with a few changes i made myself but i did use entiks fx scripts just because I didn't know of any others and where I could find them

feels very slow, partly because the frags are mostly vq3ish, partly because the demos are cut too long. There are many trash seconds. 1m20s outro way too long. Music too cliche and used up, a bad contenders attempt. Im not convinced

why not a big fat plametside 2 slideshow isntead?

I can understand why people are saying it looks like the contenders after going back and watching the first one.

There is one sequence that looks similar towards the end of the song, my intentions weren't to try and copy its just what makes sense in my head as an editor to sync it like that but oh well.

Will upload and post a download link tonight when I go to sleep for anyone interested
