I don't think there's too many average-high budget films without greenscreen anymore. But these films are based solely on unaesthetic trickery. Compare that to the 2 first Terminators for example.

Yeah it was pretty good. I'm sick to death of those damn dwarves and Thorins shitty acting and the combat scenes in the war werent good, but it was a charming film.

It was very clearly based on a kids book because the battle scenes were cartoony and timid which was the biggest let down. Every battle in the LOTR movies made this one look dreadful and I was so excited for this one.

The ending was delightful, Bard was a ganster

I enjoyed it, probably the best of the 3 in my opinion. First was good also but thought the 2nd, Desolation of Smaug was a bit shitty and slow.

how is that a spoiler? the "end" of the hobbit was always about the war of the armies, not about that weak ass dragon which gandalf cud probably own up in a proper 1v1...dont know if u even read the book if that "spoiler" (google that word please) sets you up. and its kinda known that they always prefer to do a big-shit when it comes to war and fighting and they prefer to totally pimp that up...its a moneymaker and it doesnt require much lore or w/e, just let legolas (whos not even in the book) slay some asses to make stupid ppl happy.
