Eight more players have been invited to QuakeCon® 2014's Intel® QUAKE LIVE Duel Masters Invitational, with more European and American players joining the list!
Chance, dkt, whaz and ZorakWar will all be representing the USA at QuakeCon this year, joining an already strong list of Americans attending this year. Last year's edition saw strong placements of both chance and dkt, who came 5-6th and 7-8th respectably, while the year before both ended up on a 5-8th place.
The Europeans this year coming over are the Benelux duo dem0n and Silencep, Frenchman winz and Sweden's Spart1e. Of the quartet, Spart1e is the only one who previously took part in a duel tournament at QuakeCon. His highlight was a second place in 2009 and fourth in 2010.
Cheers to Zorakwar. I remember playing him often when we were "somewhat" similar skill. I think it's awesome to see some up and coming NA guys who are still putting their nose to the grindstone to get up to the highest levels.
To note, last time I played him he murdered my ass.
it was a sarcastic response
...as in, there's probably nothing "about" him
...as in, he's probably not going
...as in i have no clue what i'm talking about, i'm basically trolling because i'm bored at work
...as in, just ignore me until someone with something helpful chimes in
Judging by QL match history only, both exp and ukn havent played a single practice match. If thats true, then either start to take it serious or they will get destroyed at the tournament. NA teams are playing almost daily and have made some solid team work already.
I'm actually excited to see ZorakWar, he probably has the best timing in FPS shooters. Seriously, I've never seen someone time so well before. I wish him good luck, hopefully he can show everybody that he's legit with his timing. :)
How are USA-Russian tensions going to affect our star Russians? They said America restricted travel in Putin's inner cabinet so Evil and Cooller are out...
