Ideas for a Quake4 2012 ESR Invitational (60 comments)

After being discussed on several occasions it's finally time to start organizing this.

My idea is that ESR hosts a fun online q4 duel cup (hopefully with prize money) that involves 2 of the major current ESR trolls, who back up their claims on Quake4: shadowmaster155 and GOD OF WAR sanchez.
To spice things up, "we" can invite known quake4 players such as toxjq, cooller, ani (as he defeated shadowmaster), 2gd, Jamerio and others up to 4-8 players.

First things first:
- Would anyone watch this?
- Is leveluptv, GDStudio or any other interested in streaming this prestigious event?
- Is there any Quake4 tournament still running?
- Who are the current best Quake4 players so we can invite them?

Feel free to contribute, and I'll gladly participate as an organizer.

I'm sure people would love to see such a hypothetical tourney but... tox seems to be full of phear, cooller won't attend unless the prize is in the thousands, 2gd is probably too busy, Jamerio's got no keyboard, and etc etc. maybe just a showmatch between shadowmaster and fag of war sanchox?

maybe if something like this is to happen we could actually take it seriously and make a decent QL invitational?

megaman actually fall for those trolls... nobody wants to play cheater. Guess what... he dont give ql account because he is banned in ql for cheating and have to stick to q4. Think logical a pro can practise ql and win zotac,dreamhack or whatever but Sanchez stick to a dead game.

Shadwmaster is most likely Sanchez before he starts cheating. Otherwise i dont know why Shadowmaster hyped himself but stopped and is hyping Sanchez atm. Sanchez is the 2nd Person which hype himself. Maybe they sucks each other cocks or they are the same person.

I think shadowmaster would play it but not sanchez. Also there must be at least 2 "competitive" players on that game, and we can get one from other games. The game can't be that dead.

Also if sanchez doesn't participate that might be a good excuse to ban him of this site.

I have already proposed match to toxjq. You can read it in previous discussions. I'd give toxjq about 2months of time for training and bet 10 000 euros on Sanchez win. So your thread is actually to my use, not ther other way.

I actually think you wont manage to bring even 2 "known" players.

Firstly, Cooller, he is a noob and i told that to him personally when he came into q4. He wont come again.
Every known russian will do the same and avoid q4, because they are aware of my presence.

Someone already tried to contact and call toxjq and i think not once, and it didnt work.

dem0n will be beaten by him and ani, ani may be won him, but it was long before he took a training course from GOD OF WAR Sanchez and became a pro level player.

I dont upload demos, sounds like a waste of time, videos are better.
Well i do to my fans, once in a year.

You can also try using aimbot and have fun finding out that your aim with aimbot is lower than Sanchez aim when he isnot warmed up on ping 50.

This isnt proof of him cheating, its proof of your low iq.

word, no logic in q4 being dead using any other mod that doesnt have all the bugs and glitches fixed, and all things quake 3 added to gameplay, and more settings on servers etc etc etc and damage sets and custom player models

because its so hard to disable a few things and have a normal quake 4 gameplay server..

q43a q43a launcher if you dont have it already from http://nullnuke.netai.net/download.php?op=details&lid=22 and load http://nullnuke.netai.net/q43a_tourn_config.cfg

then just have to tweak strafe and dodge scale, or use 0 to have a non CPMA kind of game, and make a custom damage set, if needed to suit weapon balance

From checking this ladder there are 5 better players, and shadowmaster isn't anywhere (at least with that nick)
Also it's funny how sanchez uses his nick quite a lot, or is it the same person?.

Those players are "woq" (last game 17:-1 against sanchez on monsoon), "hejduk" (42:4 against sanchez), "zyzz" (29:5 v. sanchez), "nite" and blendtec.
