I dont want to know which is better I like them both
which is more active I don't want to see people linking me to public server listings and private server listings I just want to know which one has a bigger scene even if that means strictly from a pickups perspective

quakeworld has a large amount of players left considering its age. its often easier for me to find a QW duel than a QL duel.

Not trying to be contradictory, I've just found the opposite to be true for a long time now.
Since NobodysAlternate shut down, and TastySpleen are usually vacant, which servers are you seeing active?

Both are essentially dead in NA, but on weekends/evenings I can usually find a couple of CPMA servers with players. Most often CTF

4 CPMA servers in NA, atleast 40 something in QW. pretty sure bro. There's always 2v2 games goin on at night full of specs on QW. I have a hard time finding a duel in CPM

but cpm does seem to have CTF games goin on at night aswell but that's all I see.

yeah there's a pickup channel #na.qw.pickup quakenet ofc. You're better off getting associated with the community and such, cause usually you just find people playing the 2v2s outside of the pickup.

and cpm has 12 servers not 4, my bad.
