i loved the icemat but the talent is so much more comfortable for everyday's use :)

Humm, how about a new Qck+? It's cheaper and has a great surface. Or if you want to spend more money get a Razer Goliathus Speed or a SteelSeries Qck+ Special Edition (Fnatic- and NaVi-Edition look good).

Not saying that PureTrak Talent is bad but why spend quite a lot of money on something news that you did not test in before (except you are a Hardware-Fetishist that buys new stuff only to test it) instead of buying the same cheap and good product again? And the Icemat is really nothing like the Tallent it is a hard-mousemat so you will have some aditional noise when using it, your mousefeet will die quicker and it is not as comfortable for excessive use.

The Razer Goliathus is just a worse Talent. Their surfaces are quite similar, but the Goliathus wears out fast while the Talent pretty much doesn't. During its first week the Goliathus has a very annoying sticky/sandpaper like surface.

The Talent during its first week is much like Qck+ Fnatic. Very fast and smooth, but uncontrollable. After a week it slows down to the state of a Goliathus (the Talent), but stays at that state until it lasts you.

just proves what a pro you are. the Talent is a soft mousepad, it's made of cloth. there's no additional noise, mousefeet last a lot. it's very comfortable due to its thickness (4mm+).

Yeah, that's where the + comes from. I know it's thicker than i.e. the Goliathus, which is 4mm thick, but wasn't perfectly sure about the real thickness of the Talent. Guess I should be using > next time.

Sry but I learn English since ~4 years and the first thing our teacher said to us is "don't use commas unless you are really sure that they are needed" so most of the time I write without commas cuz we never learned much about comma-rules in english but in tests we still loose points if we make it wrong.

cant use icemat on my new desk, my chair isnt high enough and this leads to wrist hitting corners and sadfaces irl

they don't compare. icemat is glass, talent is soft, smooth cloth. do you like hard or soft surfaces? it's generally said that hard pads are better for high sens players because of the lower initial drag, and cloth for low sens, but it's entirely your preference. glass might be somewhat cold and make scratching noises.
