Seismic activity has been exponentially increasing for the past 100years, thats a fact.

well, we are also living in a very brief period of time so imo its quite hasty to draw some exaggerated conclusions when weather is "weird" here and there.. weather warming/cooling is cyclical throughout the history anyway .. or maybe you were saying something along those lines :p

Of course weather has been much more extreme in the past, but all that matters is the weather we are used to, that determines where and how we build our cities, where we grow what crops, etc.
So if the weather changes, it can be more uncomfortable.

The other thing is the simply connection that generally global warming will lead to different weather, thus the probability that you get unusual weather for your area for a certain of the year increases a bit. However, it does not mean that if it's raining for three day that "omg, global warming is happening"
