The three teams who play the best attacking football in semifinals. That's a good point in my book.

germany played defensively till argentina attacks them with all their enforces.. which means counter-attack and goal and it kept going till 4x0. netherlands doesnt attack at all.. they got fucked by brazilian ball control till felipe melo starts playing UFC. uruguay played against weak teams. spain played against only one strong team, portugal.

the only point is that germany is surprising me.. even tho they lost against serbia and they had a really tough game when they played ghana. argentina`s defense = no defense... :)

The three teams mentioned are playing good positive football ("attacking" is a bit of a red herring as even Mourinho's teams attack). Their game plans are based around creating solid opportunities to score goals, they don't make defensive substitutions (Defenders on for Forwards) and they control the games they are in with the intent of scoring.

Even when 1-0 up and Argentina were stretching the game Germany were willing to make strong counters with the aim of scoring.

Lets not start comparing their approach with Brazil, Japan and Portugal.

Other teams worthy of being called positive are Argentina, Chile and Mexico.

Uruguay are "meh", neither positive or negative :P
