My monitor is making some sort of high pitched hum. I don't know if this has been there forever, or I noticed it just now. I was playing some D3 and I noticed it when it was loading a map (it turns off for a moment when the map is loading.)

Is yours doing this too? Do I have super-earing?

I don't have the 2233rz, but a while ago I had bought a 23" Samsung monitor/HDTV that had a high-pitch noise when a large amount of certain colors came on screen. I returned it.

It's unlikely you have super hearing.

crt monitors make a high pitch noise before dying, and start getting screen issues

if the weather is cold, you can some times hear loading sounds like having a pair of headphones on

Many lcds with cathode lights make noise. Try to change your brightness setting to the default value (or 100%) and see if it gets better.

also happening here (sometimes). its when i have a lot of white on my screen, kinda annoying but it started after warranty ran out
