Two days ago or something brightskins (I use green Keel) started to appear way too bright. Well, similar to CPMA/OSP green bright, but right when I got used to the green not-as-bright skin they apparently add this terrible blinding green thing.

How do I revert back to the not-as-bright green colour?

pd: Something weird: I just played a game on a server and the skin was as green as it was before, when I was over after a while I played another game and the really bright skin was there again. wtf

only works with postproccess 0 tought.

otherwise you could use

seta cg_teamHeadColor "0x238000FF"
seta cg_teamLowerColor "0x238000FF"
seta cg_teamUpperColor "0x238000FF"

if this doesnt work you should lower your

r_intensity or r_overbrightbits

Look at the fucking picture.

Same r_intensity, r_contrast, /setenemycolor iiii, same with r_enablepostprocess 1 or 0.

Its the skin, not a cvar.

if that still isn't enough then just chose a darker green with.
setenemycolor i should be about the same as the old /bright

but if not use an HTML color picker to find something.

maybe try unsetting all the cg_enemy*color vars?

Although I have no idea why you would want less bright characters, I mean they stand out shitloads more, the only problem I had was corpses were distracting but with cg_deadbodydarken that's not an issue. Still, no big deal vasseva.

I am the opposite, my character seems too dull to me and no amount of intensity/brightbits fiddling seems to change it only the environment. So how did you sort your problem so that i can do the reverse as i would like the glowing model lol.

Set,
r_overbrightbits 1
r_enablepostprocess 0
r_ignorehwgamma 0

Play around with mapoverbrightbits and gamma for desired overall brightness. I personally would leave intensity at 1.

Any chance at making the levels equally bright?

House of decay for instance is bright as fuck, whereas ztntourney1 is darker.

I hate changing gamma and r_brightbitscap stuff values everytime I change maps.
