for a moment i thought this was ql gtv.

the nice thing is we get casting and video stream. Imo that's more interesting than GTV styled viewing alone. Plus it's wheat, the bomb diggity of casters.

Hopefully one day id will develope a GTV esque thing, lord knows we're doing our best to convince them to do so. Obviously in game TV servers are better than live streams, but that's all we've got for now so we'll have to make due!

nice site and nice idea, ive watched a few of the matches now.
the only thing that bothers me is the shoutcasters, now this isnt really just aimed at these shoutcasters but most of the gaming shoutcasters in general, there seems to be little to no insight into the game/s at all and usually we are just being told exactly what we can see on the screen. I'd just like more insight wether it be info about the match, their predictions/knowledge of what will happen next and some background info on the players/teams/leagues etc.
when u watch football they will talk about how the teams have done leading upto this match, when u watch formula one they will talk about the history of a driver, when you watch the NBA they will talk about how a particular player did the previous week. you get the idea.

But sometimes its boring to listen to you guys, there times where the player/players aren't doing anything and the shoutcast just goes quiet, you really need to be more talkative, people listen to a shoutcast to listen to people talk, or we wouldnt actually listen to it if we didnt want to listen to it... hmmm...

on a side note you are doing a great job though guys :)

what's the problem to let some blanks and listen to the game sounds until someone as something relevant to say ? (furthermore sometimes it's interesting to listen to the game sounds, e.g. when players are hiding and playing on stealth movements)

That's what I liked about 2GD shoutcasting. He was entertaining and you got insights from a pro.

Tosspot has this great ability to make a boring rape game more interesting than any close final game shoutcasted by anyone. DjWheat's best castings are in games where some unique things happen and then he just bursts into scream about these happenings and praises those players in game.

IMHO they're two unique characters which cannot be compared because they both have their special touch for their job.

and there's the 3rd shoutcaster who like to speak in quake matches about cooller babies and great depression; he is usually sitting his ass out of the door when doing this, so you can't compare him with others, too. but I wanna hear all three of them speak at the same time, in different languages if possible, please

i'm not comparing, im just saying tosspot lacks alot of knowledge to be called a great quake caster, whereas wheat is as close to perfect as there is.
