its running on edge, which is about 284kb as apposed to 3g which is 384kb so its not a huge speed difference! but i hope the next version is HSDPA which wipes the floor with both of them :)

After you do that, come back and say traveling is a need for people who lack things at home(and fuck yes I lack things at home for too long; new things).

I'm calling you close minded because you think wanderlust and wanting to travel comes from some flaw and lack of something at home. All the foreign students you meet are ~ your own age and know English I figure, it's like going to the zoo to see animals :D.

Things are more than pretty or tiresome, for me it's experiencing new things, not so much if they are pretty or not. Even something like a taxi ride up a hill in Italy is pretty fun if its for the first time.

I do hope you get your year abroad.

What's your opinion on the iphone for browsing? Is it any good? I'm looking to get a new phone that's got a decent web browser. I also want to be able to use Vodaphone on it because I get free internet access with that provider.

I've gone to many places around the UK and they are by far the best provider with regards to getting a signal. The rest in comparison are crap.
