Is this series any good or just the next Lost? (neverending twists and turns and no idea where it's going)

it's nothing amazing but it's fun

first few episodes are boring, but soon picks up. there's no filler shit like lost, there's always a question but they do push the story forward, reveal stuff and so on. worth checking out, I would wait a few weeks them hammer the whole season out in one.

Hmm, some odd "Did you know" facts. Like Hiro is named after Hiroshima ? :S.

Its kinda obviouse that Hiro is named after "Hero", cos he is meant to be the Hero trying to save the world by affecting the course of events that occure in time.

The Chinese character for his name is the 'hiro' from Hiroshima and its pronunciation is similar to english 'hero'. It's supposed to be a pun.

Heroes was fun but its starting to get boring tbh.... Ill stop after s01

if i was following any other shows id tell you. Only one thats rather close is prison break, although the last part of s02 sucked, but the cliffhanger at the final ep was amazing. And heroes was fun but there are too many plotholes in it and the new heroes are starting to get uninspired.... And come on, you could see the claire thing coming

Is season 2 of PB worth watching? The ending of S1 pissed me off so much that I couldn't stomach the thought of watching S2 (that said, I really did enjoy the show).

Disagree with you on heroes though, think it's the best thing on 'tv' right now.

24 is still using the same formula (well, aside from the cool multi-screen story telling they had in s1...) and it's becoming a chore to watch.

The last BSG season was utter shite (apart from the final episode) - almost as bad as the first season.

Oh, and while I'm at it.. The Sopranos has got boring as hell. This 'current season' pales in comparison to the first three seasons.

Been watching The Wire solidly for the past few weeks - really enjoying that series. It's good to see something with a lot of social commentary that isn't afraid to kill off the main characters.

PB season 2 in my mind was utterly lacklustre. Season 1 was amazing, but season 2 just felt like it was creating artificial problems to keep the story going.

24 season 1 was good, but I just haven't been able to watch any of it since then, too formulaic, feels like you're watching Superman or some shit.

Heroes really is the best thing on TV, been utterly captivated by it since it started, and the "plotholes" are just things that they haven't told you yet, but you feel pretty confident they will. And anyway, the future's supposed to change, so with any luck they'll retell the now to 5 years in the future in some sort of coherent fashion. I personally think this episode was a worst-case scenario, what with Hiro dying and Nathan dying and Sylar becoming all-powerful, etc.

It was kind of refreshing though to see them outside instead of trying to break out all the time :)

perhaps obtained lindermans power of healing.. but still, that was just "a possible" timeline.. but still #2, even though the sense morale from ".07%" pretty much was Isaac's realization that you cannot escape time :P i'd guess we'll have to wait and see what happens in the following 3 episodes..

Just saw it, and wow, it really was a superb episode, and it's kinda, they don't have to stick with this as the future can easily be changed, imagine how long they can keep on going :D sadly it might turn into what all other tv shows will, eventually, let's hope they manage to keep it going for long

i think the best way to do it would be to build it to a big climax at the end of 1-2 series, then do some kind of spinoff series, like a prelude series, and a future series or something, business wise that would make sense for them.
