get it for gc, its identical apart from the control system... the gc version actually got better reviews slightly too.

Link has been lefthanded since the very beginning of Zelda. For the Wii they decided - for most Wiiers being right-handed - to make Link right-handed... and mirror the whole game (all dungeons, the steppe, etc).

/me playing it on GC right now. It's awesome.

Wii-Version has 16:9, increased resolution and 60 FPS and, of course, the "improved" controlls. Germans @ consolewars.com claim that the controls are really feeling considerably better and they wouldn't want to go back to the classic controlls.

Hmm... I'm quite convinced they made him right-handed for the Wii and that the mirrored version is the GC one to have him left-handed again. I wouldn't bet money on my source as it's "just" a friend, but atleast he's quite the fanatic and claims this to be a fact even when I told him it seemed against logic thinking.

Twilight Princess is a NGC game. They made Link left handed, as always, but when they added Wiimote support they saw how retarded it is for 90% of people to be using the right hand to swing the sword when the character in the screen is left handed, so they mirrored everything for the Wii version.

It's a little annoying if you have know Hyrule because everything is flipped, but other than that it goes unnoticed.

mirror tracks on mario kart were always cool.. im sure i can live with mirror hyrule

only good thing about the GC version is camera angles.. other than that the wii remote is better in every way.

i got an xbox360 last week so been playing gears of war and playing on xbox live.
only good game on the wii is zelda and i dont see that changing any time soon

At the price NGC is selling nowadays you can't go wrong with it. I have tried both versions and the Wii one is definitely better, but 310 bucks against 80 just for 16:9 support and Wiimote funcionality is not worth it.

You should probably ask yourself if you want a Wii or not depending on future games and so.

sounds like im going for the GC Zelda combo. im satisfaid with all other games that is avaible for GC so it will do. i mean, mario kart starts to get old but is still as fun as it was when it was released =). mario tennis is also suberb. i just wanna have a consol that i can be social with. & ofc have fun with thx for the replays guys

Try Mario Smash Football and Super Smash Bros Melee, my favorite social games for the NGC, specially for four players.

i have played smash bros, it was fun, but its hard as "#"!. also have played mario power tennis and that rocked, that was rly fun. i dont know about fotball. but i guess its fun aswell.

Haha, it's not hard, I had some problems when I started playing, but it just takes some days to realize it's not a typical fighting game, so you have to "learn" a new genre.

I have played some Tennis (I don't own a NGC btw, just played it a lot on a friend's house), but I didn't find it nearly as fun as Football, which is much more action packed, kinda like Speedball 2. Half fighting, half sports.

I can't wait to play Super Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Strikers Charged on the Wii. I haven't bought the NGC versions because both are supposed to be released in 2007.

Well it is kinda stupid to inclue Wii into the battle Xbox360 vs PS3 since Wii is more of a casual gamer thing, even "Nintendo" said that. Xbox360 and PS3 is more towards the hardcore gamer.

Look at all the reviews xbox360 vs ps3 and just look at the games for both, I have yet to see any game for ps3 that looks promising. I mean Grand Tourrismo doesnt look like that they have put anythingnew under the sun in it.

I dont have a xbox360 but if i had to chose between xbox360 and ps3 then it would be xbox360 for sure.

I've played both alot and Tekken at a somewhat competetive level. I like em both but prefer Tekken.

i have been boxing vs my friend on his wii for hours after that we played golf for ages, that machine is brilliant :D. kicking his dads ass in boxing rocked to.

Agree but as a PC owner I bought the Wii for the innovative gameplay it offers. I would not have considered a PS3 or a 360 because I can play those types of games on my PC ...

same here, I never owned a console, nor did I ever consider buying one.
But just for playing those wii sports games with (non-gamer) friends, I seriously think of buying one now. All I used consoles for until now was play hours of Super Tennis (yes, good old Super NES) with a friend before heading to parties :-)

It's crazy. Here people are preordering Wiis just to get one in February. A friend of mine works at a big mall and he says some people go everyday at 10:00 to see if a new shipment has come (mostly fathers whose children want one for the wise men). They receive like 40 Wiis each shipment that get sold before noon.

But that's not all, you can't find nunchuks (I think this only happens in my city though), classic controllers or official component and SCART cables. And you can't also find Brain Training packs or even the game alone.

Kinda bad planning by Nintendo.
