during the last two weeks clanbase site has worked two days (or even less)

There were some hosting problems, but the site is back up now.

And it's down again

It's gone for good now from what I can tell. The Quake admins gathered and found a new website to organize the usual nation cups around New Year.

Still not so definite, but it seems it will be that way. Still, few more days are needed to know for sure if there will be any hope for CB.

can you at least get the data dump?

Since it's GGLs property, I doubt it will happen, unless they wanna let CB go on their own, which I doubt will happen tbh. I think in 2 days we will know what's up after meeting with GGL.

It became worse and worse after it went to GGL anyway...been playing cod on clanbase from like 08-2013, one of the worst experiences ive had so far with gaming, it was the only choice, and the amount of miss-chosen admins which were nothing but corrupt for like 5€ per case was stunning.

hey, soz to awake an old post, but for people who found this on google, there is a new cb replacement, its very similar to clanbase and you can get classic games added. the site is scrimbase scrimbase.com gaming ladder

No Quake, no care.

Quake was there I asked for it to be added. No one wanted to join it. I even remember mentioning scrimbase to you.

The game was added but no activity so removed.

I know the owners of the site and it can easily be re-added if there's activity and somebody willing to admin it as the owners don't know too much about quake (they played it casually only).

Good find, I know the people who've developed this site and helped them with some of the contents and features.

They would be more than happy to have more games covered however they need activity and more importantly admins willing to put in the rules, maplist, etc. in the ladders and cups.

shocking. i think i've heard of 1 or 2 other community sites with similar issues

Well those who run the site would be happy to admin quake, but they don't know what rules and maplists to put in place for each gametype and don't know how to get quake players to sign up and play.

It's a lot of work involved for nothing in return, so they'd rather focus on games which have several players and teams asking for them to be added and willing to give a hand with a bit of admin work.

Even back in the clanbase days the Quake ladders were pretty much inactive anyway, only the eurocups and nationscups had a lot of attention and activity with good players and teams.
