Well, the visuals were interesting, and I liked the weapon effects. However, as much as I like the concept of black and white used, the dark areas were practically rendered jet-black.

Sure, we all know the maps off by heart anyway... but it still looked ugly half the time. I'm guessing this is because of increased contrast to make it not look all just "grey"?... maybe he should have opted for a more desaturated look instead of just plain high-contrast black & white. Fragwise... lets be honest, they were pretty mediocre CA frags 90% of the time, and the music was pretty meh too (although not necessarily "bad" for a fragmovie... I've heard worse).

3rd person camera effects were slightly overdone, which combined with the black&white made it difficult to tell what was going on. Might want to cut back on that 20%.

Basically, in my opinion it needs better frags and music, and while the visuals are nice in concept they need a bit of fine-tuning. +1 for the effort, looking forward to his next movie.

didnt like the over-use of cameras, but some of them were really cool.

the fx scripts were nice. plasma looked really good. didnt really like the saturation on every map. it looked nice on some of them, but i think it should have been used as a transition more than a blanket video effect.

the audio was severely out of sync for the majority of the video.

song was cool.

i would watch another video if you made some changes to your moviemaking style, but i guess i just love watching quake.

cant name a single thing i liked about it. image quality was good? idk
