listen servers are fully playable in q43a. you dont really need a dedicated server if you have 20mbs broadband, but wifi makes you connection a bit shit, so 8mbs landline or cable is better

inx servers only cost £10 a month..

1>use Q43A launcher to generate a config for your gameplay
2>save the config in your Q43A folder
3>upload the q43a folder via ftp
4>ask inx to update q4 to 1.4.2 if there is no auto update option
5>if mod path does`nt work, get inx to set add [ in the quake4-ded file on your ftp ] :

+fs_game q43a +exec serverconfig.cfg

q43a everything works as normal, there is no messing around

you can use q43a launcher to start local listen and dedicated servers on windows, it will save the config in q43a folder when you launch it
