you need Q43A, with or without new features enabled in server config, performance will be alot better because of all the recoding, clean code and new netcode, with server and client only running the code thats needed to be run for each and every entity spawned on each side and wont be overridden by client prediction or snapshot

if your a noob, when you load the mod you will have red menus and options. everything is the same and Q43A runs like a unofficial patch mod

any current custom SP maps that can be downloaded for Q4, will not work, the custom AI in those are setup to use hitscans, Q43A does`nt have hitscans, every projectile is a real projectile with physics

all game modes and servers are in the 1 driver, with 1 source that builds windows and linux, download Q43A and it will do them all for both OS

Q43A is militia, i have said it 100000000000000000000 times, militia mod is dead and 2 years old and beta MP, i renamed militia to Q43A and Q43A is a lightyear away from militia driver code, and Q43A isnt beta MP, Q43A has many more new features in MP then militia had

filefront had a network poll to manage your own files, militia files would be deleted along time ago if they got around to adding a manager, the mods will not delete any of them, they like having terrabytes of junk
