Looking at buying another car fairly soon. We currently own a 2.0 Golf TDI and a 1.8 petrol Focus, which I like a lot, but they're getting a little old and have seen better days. Ideally I'm looking for something below 10k GBP, I could potentially stretch to 12. It needs to be manual, and preferably a diesel - and something that tends to hold its value fairly well. Open to all suggestions, hatchback or saloon - not fussed.

I haven't played Quake since 2006, but have continued to follow the scene and particularly enjoy watching VODs with decent commentary. I also struggle with insomnia, and find it incredibly difficult to fall asleep, however, have discovered that, rather than reading a book or watching television, Quake VODs seem to be the best remedy (I don't know if id Software would view QL's sleep inducing qualities as a positive, but I certainly do).

Over the past year, I've fallen asleep to every q3 / ql VOD I can find. I've watched the entire ESL library, lvlup, QCon, UGC etc. I am in desperate need of more material.

Other than the aforementioned, is there anything I've missed?

Long time reader, first time poster.

Looking for a few suggestions as to which mouse to buy - my current (some non-descript Logitech) is both ancient and useless in equal measure. I think it's just named the "Logitech Wheel Mouse" - the sensor has gone to pot and the wheel no longer works.
I use a Razer Goliathus Speed Edition mat and have no real preference as to small or large mice - however, this one seems pretty small and I do have the hands of a pre-pubescent girl, so small may be wise. Back in Q3, I think I used an mx510 (if such a thing existed) and quite liked it, but I'm open to any suggestions!

Price is no issue.
