For some months the german quake community http://spontangames.de had added a public vanilla Q4Base CTF server that is located in Germany that will be open to the public.

Now we decided to switch the server from vanilla Q4Base to the Q4MAX Mod with custom maps (closer to pickup maplist) and without Punkbuster.

The IP to the gameserver is: 195.13.62.40:29100

We hope to keep our community strong by bringing this kinda server to the community. As well, we hope this server can bring more people to the #spontan.games @ quakenet irc channel where you can play pickups with us or simple as that chat with us and stay for fun.

So, please come to this server and spread the word to the people you know!!!

There has been a while since our Q4CTF Cup #3 and the time now feels right for another cup.

The thing is that we want to offer something more then just CTF. So we have therefore added t.he posibility to add up for a 1on1 and TDM cup aswell, and the votes said, the community wants an Q4 1on1 this month.

The Cup takes place next weekend, 12th October, 16:00 CET, Check-in is 15:30 CET (rescheduled from 28.Sept).

Slots are open up to 32 Players.

Join #spontan.cups @ quakenet and Check-in before 16:00 CET.

So good humor and eager to play is very much desired, so don't hessitate to add up.

For the first 1on1 Cup, the tournament setting will be Single Elimination, BO1 (KO System) and the grand final will be BO3.

The Cup is open for everyone, but be sure your ping is good, because the main servers are located in germany, maybe we can borrow some server located in belgium and netherlands.
