my opinion : advanced editing techniques and the runs looked solid. a lot of work has obviously gone into the production part. the only thing i disliked was at times the editing was a bit too much and took the focus away from the content. that whole doom model turning on the mp3 player bit was cheesy too :P

love the editing.. but imo, i had no clue on what exactly was going on most of the time during the video. way too much distractions while watching the runs. =\

I think this is the most "overedited" movie I have seen so far. It was so much cool stuff so I didnt see what was happening sometimes.

Its cool that this kind of material can come out of a "non professional" production is really interesting.

the best editing ive seen ina q3 vid, shame the content was a little dull tho!

they were actually really high skilled runs but the editing seemed to cover it in some way :(

Problem is unless you are a tricker or REALLY into tricking you won't really realise how high skilled it is.

I don't really like trickjump movies etc as for me they are kind of pointless so it is boring I do find tricks that are actually usefull in a 1vs1/TDM/CTF/etc interesting however (Just you can't make a movie out of them!)

play more promode :D many tricks are actually useful in game.

x264 :/

x264 is a great codec, I'm not sure why there are so many people complaining. It is an improvement on the XViD codecs as there is another level of postprocessing leading to better image quality. The cpu usage is much better than with quicktime h.264 which is a POS on the PC.

I liked the movie. Good editing, music, and decent jumps.

I always wondered, how do they add those effects like little boxes and arrows that stays with the movement of the game? Editting it frame by frame would take a shitload of time no?
