Why?
Every month we get bullshit promises of coverage, yet EVERY SINGLE STOP has been plagued with technical difficulties which result in many people looking at a blank stream. It's stupid TBH and shows pathetic pro-gaming is for specs, when hardcore players with fast internet connections can't even view the stream. I dont care who's fault it is I'm tired of it's inconsistency.
At least if they bothered to record the streams and offer them for DL then players would not have to go to such measures.
Maybe they'll build on my iniative.

Seeing as they are attempting to broadcast the service for free then I see no harm. they have full credit and their sponsors get even more coverage. If anything they should be glad people go to the effort.
Also, with the contempt towards CPL at the moment, I really don't think TSN would be wise to give gamers a bigger excuse to put the boot into the CPL wt. Bitching at the gamers for trying to improve a service both the CPL and TSN seem unable to consistently pull off, will result in lesss people knowing about, TSN and it;s sponsors and pro-gaming and all that stuff thats important.
Maybe someone has the bright idea of releasing a DVD or somethign with all the missed coverage that was promised. If they want it down speak they can speak to Sujoy and Filefront.

The sole reason I did not atend CPL (SPECTATE) sheffield is becasue I foolishly assumed that seeing as the event is less than 300 miles away I would get constant coverage over the weekend.
As it happens, I have missed an event I really wanted to spectate and worst of all its not my fault.
Who's goign to compensate myself and others who missed out on the promised experience?

exactly. wish they would do a stream based tourney from their headquarters or something with a really good connection. they really need some sort of gaming stadium or a tv studio like in korea, kekekekekeke. TT

All they need to to is backup the ENTIRE broadcast to a local machine and then offer it for download a day or so after the event.
Or setup a pc at teh event where spectators can plug in a USB stick take it home and upload it. There should be no issues overcopyright as they get free promotion and it's obvious that until a decent service can be provided tren they actually need the help of others.

After watching that I've come to the conclusion that british people shouldn't be casters. Most of them have such a thick accent you can hardly tell what they are saying. Why can't they sound more like sujoy. :(

How do you record these jamerio?

Some site that embed video files I want to rip, but the source file never works. I remeber someone sent me a program a few years back but I never used it.

I use Net Transport to record streams.
Its a simple download manager but the only one that works with streams from which i know. Try it out :)
(Eventually you have to change the file formats into .wmv or something ,just rename)

I use a program called Window Media Recorder. It only seems to be able to rip WMA/WMV and only works with IE. Not firefox, no quicktime etc.
Failing that I suppose the Hypertronics stuff might work to capture everything. Not tried though.

great game, altho im a UT player from origin, i SO much more enjoy watching PK and q3 games.. (there are some exceptions ofcourse)
