Good demo. But what is with all these old demos. This should be for demos like the eswc 2005 ones. :(

It's ace to have aload of classic demos being uploaded now, seeing as we're all looking to move onto Q4 a little bit of reminiscence over Q3's life is fun.

There haven't really been any major tournaments since ESWC though and all the demos from that are already on the ligarena FTP. If we can't enjoy some classic Q3 demos then we may aswell just all register at gotfrag.

Turns out it should be ok (I think). The number of downloads isn't huge so the bandwidth usage won't make Jolt pull the plug. Proper file storage is just around the corner apparently so can host movie files and so on also.

Yeah, but I think this was only uploaded for entertainment value (which this clearly has), everyone knows the 3 games they played were non-tournament and the results really don't matter. Noone ever really seemed to care apart from fazz (i think, but i really dont remember too well) and noone ever really took this super seriously, it was just a really cool demo, nothing more.

I would care and go nuts, but that just shows how sad i am when it comes to games :]

No this demo was uploaded to show that the Americans didn't get completely raped at LA7 even though they did. The fact fox and fazz won the other 2 out of the 3 games just adds to the feeling that this is about as impressive as making a movie of warmup kills before your opponent assrapes you 76-0. ZeRo4 was a great dueller, but never even top 100 in the world in tdm and Boodah was a stupid Canadian who hopped more than one of those guys in the wild west getting bullets shot at his feet.

Heh, I remember first time watching this shit, I was fairly intoxicated. Later on the other day I had to watch it again just to make sure it was for real :P There was another game too IIRC, same players; same map with an almost equally crazy outcome, right?

nm, I was thinking of 519 vs forze.

nah this was the only game the yanks won.

they won the majority of the other 2v2s. not that winning was the reason for any of this.

Wow, boodah is friggin' amazing, first demo I've ever seen of him tbh. But damn, some of the stuff he was doing was just insane, and not just in terms of aiming (which he had plenty of, awesome vertical railgun too), but prediction and such too. Great rocket aim too though it's hard to catch (not talking airshots, general long-range prediction and planting the rockets across flat ground perfectly, couple shots in the RA/pillars room were insanely nice even though they didn't look like it).

As destrukt once said: do it when it counts.

Ya... everyone gets their lucky demo to post sooner or later, definately, but it was a lot of the little things that really impressed me in this one.
