Frag highlight movie from one of the finest australian player: Mortuary "The aerowalk god :>".

This movie features a lot of duel frags on aerowalk,dm2 and dm6 and also some tdm ones. Don't be afraid by the old school look of QuakeWorld, this time it has been deliciously tweaked with the ezQuake client.

The high quality version is a rmvb file, however you don't need real player to watch it, just install the realalternative codec bundled in. This file is meant to be watched fullscreen (You might have a desynchronization with sound on a slow computer ;o).

For those who won't bother with the real file there's also a mq version encoded in xvid.

Of course it can. It's encoded with Realmedia codecs. It can also be played with Media Player Classic if Realplayer or just the codec is installed.

Very nice opening! And of course lots of nice frags and nice Tool music. But maybe qw-filmmakers should learn not to use copyrighted music in movies? Or to at least use something else than the usual alternative/metal/techno etc...this is getting boring no matter how good the music itself is.

Well I thought I heard about a Q2 conversion of blood run but after searching for it I think I am mistaken, it doesn't look like there is one.

Actualy it uses some of engine remakes (since the q1 engine is GPLd) but yes looks very good. Only problem i had that the movie had some playing problems in full screen (in default it was ok).

real codec works fine here, quality of the image in hq version is almost perfect
nice editing as usual from pez and great content from Mortuary
the only thing I didn't liked was soundtrack but it's a matter of personal taste (without last song - reminds me get quaked)

yeah, nice job makin the ugly quakeworld maps look pretty newish, really good quality on realplayer if not on fullsize especialy, i didn't like the hard music that much, but that's just a matter of opinion + the nice airrox that was showed 3-4x in a row is a bit too much ;x 2 times would do for me, the movie was +/- decent untill i got to the credits :) those look really good and the str goes excellent with them, love that part ;> the intro.. well the intro looked a bit "different" i guess, with all the shooting and stuff, and suddenly "mortuality" pops up.. i'd like it better if it would slowly appear, fade in, but that's yet again a matter of opinion ^^ anyway a nice movie, worth the download, id give it an 8 maybe, will watch again and then rate.. ;p

The video is a good mix of effects and Frags. I don't know why everybody is talking about some "effect-overkill", there is none. There aren't too much effects, maybe you just interprete something as effect which isn't. I liked the Music VERY much, did fit very good to the footage. The editing was really good and a real eye-candy. I watched this about 20 times now, which is self-explanatory, I suppose.
