mechanical keyboards are overrated, they are not really better, they just cost more, but they are considered a premium item, so the only fun is in owning them, which on the other hand is the highest motivation in buying premium things

lets say they are overrated for gaming but they are good if you write a lot... but still not neccessary

but who does write a lot ... only typists that are not replaced yet by natural language recognition ...
coders dont write steadily a lot, I doubt journalists (or liars) write steadily in one go

So keyboards are a dying tool but in games they will last a little longer till we can control everything with our thoughts or so (this will reduce even more input lag). I hope I will see the day when I can play quake without mouse & keyboard! This will be amazing! :D

mind control of drones, etc. is already possible afaik, but I am not so sure the thought control experience is so much better
