There are plenty of instructions on installing it. The settings will be the same in other games as they are in Quake Live.

what would be my accel in this thingy then if i use 0.018 pitch and yaw and 0.025 accel. 900dpi - everything else default

keep sensitivity at 1
accel at 0.025
sens cap 0
offset 0
power 2
set both post scales to 0.8182 for 0.018 m_yaw/pitch

If you use this accel driver in Quake Live, then you'll want to set your m_yaw/pitch in Quake Live to 0.022 again. Use the driver to change your m_yaw/pitch instead. There is a calculator on the website.
