Why?

* Your fuding goal is way too big. Its better to set lower funding goal then to big. Its better to complete your funding goal and reach 300% more than fail.

* ITs important on Kickstarter that you "explode" in start with backers. You should make your social media sites first, get supporters / fans, engage them before launching the project etc etc. Secondly, you should ask your family and friends to make first pledges, even pay them to do so cos start on Kickstarter is really important. Kickstarter has funny algorithm. If you get like 100 pledges in first day you will be on top and you will get even more pledges if your project is good enough. From what I see now your project will fail, but you can succeed in next.

I can tell you more by details. I m crowdfunding expert, I have been working 5 years as a freelancer with more than 500 projects that were successful on Kickstarter and Indiegogo.

I thought it was a decent amount, how much do you think it costs to make a game in the west these days?

I thought the game looked cool, BUT, I think the fast paced. arena FPS market is just dead. And I wish it was not, but you just have to look at the evidence.

There are decent such games all around us, and they all share one thing in common, they have small, high skilled player bases, which the rest of the world just do not seem to care about :(

You dont understand. ITs not too much, its way too low but if you want reach KS goal then you need to set lower funding goal in order to succeed. Some projects set 20k goal and they reach like 870k in the end. I can explain you how this works and it takes like 1 hour of explaining things so you might understand.

In addition to that, the initial funding can be a kickstart, not the whole budget. With a successful Kickstarter it's doable to show that to a publisher and get more funds.

Anyway, not interested in yet another Arena Shooter. From 2016 to 2017 there will be like 20 released or in beta, and some of them actually have a healthy playerbase.

Very nice! Its amazing how the matrix self balances, while QC gets a more in your face aim dependant style, Insight offers more strategic gameplay, which i personally find more interesting.

It's an interesting idea with the sound.

I don't mind the movement either. However, one worry I have is there might actually be a little too much complexity when you combine all of the available mechanics, shooting through walls, bouncing between walls when you shoot that rail-like thing. Too much complexity can sometimes lead to gimicky gameplay where one particular thing is overpowered in a particular area of the map and removes from the simple aim / dodging core mechanics of the game.

Take my opinion with a grain of salt obviously I haven't got a clue what it will play like.

you remove alternate fire,
increase the timescale

Seriously, this is closer to what I wanted for Quake5 than timmeh's buggy moba, way closer.

The only, the ONLY example of alternate firing weapons being a good thing is the shock rifle from UT. Hitting sick combos and watching the enemy explode/fly across the freaking room is so satisfying!

But yeah, mouse2 for +moveup is hard to give up.
