Actually I used to use the trackman marble mouse until it got so fucked it couldn't roll right. I'm still more comfortable with the mouse but might be good later on.

That sens seem way too slow for me.


Try the same on 800 cpi with acceloffset 5 and without senscap. Adjust from there (but imo not much lower).

Why on earth would he double his sens or even raise that much. He said "this is the fastest sens ive played at in awhile" and he has parkinsons your telling a guy who constantly shakes to raise his sens to shake even more. Anyway some actual advice maybe raise turn key sens if there is a command for it?

I took that into account. Maybe it would still be more comfortable to aim. I know really shaky people.

I think if you need to use turn binds, it means your sens is too low for you. But I can see why you'd want low sens.

I would up the accel for turning, and disable the sens cap. Not sure about acceloffset, but might work nice. I would get to the point where you can do a 180 degree turn easily, IMO its essential. You might aim worse in some situations, but it'll help for close/mid range combat a lot. So if you want to use low sens/accel, then choose the lowest that you can do a 180 easily, and its up to you what the sens:accel ratio is that gets you there. I think in your case it might help to keep the sens low and up the accel, so you have stability when tracking at long range, but can move quick when needed.

Whats your problem with sens exactly?
Tracking opponent? movement speed?
Low sens is good for consistency but high accel isnt, maybe try higher sens (closer to senscap, not 2:3 ratio) and lower accel

I doubt that senscap is much use. You'd have to move the mouse at greater than 52 inches per second to exceed that cap, and if you're moving it that fast, you probably want to. :D

If the very low sens is needed to avoid shakiness, you might be able to afford increasing accel a bit. Yours is quite low.

super low sens can be good if you use mobile mice, keyboard, and monitor.

with these devices, YOU will be able to be THE ONE to TURN 180 or 360. you can go as low sens as you want until you puke.

Turn of accel.

I think the accel is helping him use that 66cm / 360, which he needs if he is shaky.

Shakiness of the hand would be quite low speed movements and therefore not cause sens to fluctuate much due to accel.

You're right, at the moment ive moved to 0.8 base sens and 1.2 offset. Hopefully QC will have a +left +right but so far I doubt it.

You should be able to use cl_anglespeedkey to change the rate at which +left and +right cause you to turn.

I haven't played with it myself, but maybe it will help in your case---unless it is cheat protected or something?

Sorry I took so long to reply, forgot my login info. Thank you that really did help, sadly QC doesn't have turn binds. Good thing is i'm on a different medication and having a legal state helps quite a bit. I'm at 128cm comfortably now with the use of my new speedy turn binds.

qc is ql-killer and its sens-settings are not correspond with ql-settings at all
so all those heartless-type guys will find their *optimal* sens for like next 10 years or so

Start out as low as you can, when you begin to feel like your sensitivity is holding you back, turn it up slightly. repeat this until you can move and aim freely without hesitation and in any direction.
don't change it game by game because you played well for a few rounds... the single biggest mistake newer players tend to make.

You can adapt to pretty much any sensitivity high or low, no matter how uncomfortable it may feel, all you need is time to adjust.

i would have tried to increase the sensitivity as much as possible(if 60cm/360 is as high as possible then go with that, low sens can decrease your accuracy, because it requires more of an effort and time) , and increase accel for tight turning. Then id also use acceloffset 3 to get consistensy for slower turning , like lg /rail .
Also i would have tried to use ZOOMING as much as possible .

Try out different positions , you have the russian/rapha style , normal style, and tox style

-Rapha has keyboard on lap, and he sits on an angle so he can get his elbow on the table and just use wrist (probably not the way to go for you)

-tox style , he has mousepad(slippery icemat) almost behind his monitor, so he can relax his arm for maximum stability .

-normal style , normal .

-A combination might be best for you , you can bind your keys closer to the left, so you have more space for your mouse , Sit at a slight angle to get more of your elbow on the desk for stability. Elbow on desk seems to be preferred by those who wants more stability which you seem to need.

Also , i assure you "sensitivity hell" as many calls it , is not only for those with actual physical issues =p
