you know the different between 3310 and 3360 sensor?i read 3360 is more responsive i am interested with this g203, i bought a 400s some years ago and is died after 1 week...

I don't know technical details but you can watch this review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4lqxQL1x4U there are some informations. It seems that g203 has Marvel sensor (200–6000 dpi) that is why it is cheaper but also very good. G Pro has 3366.

ps: I switched from g400 to g pro lately and it is awesome. I was considering g203 but I didn't want a ruber cable.

G403 gets my thumbs up and its sub 85g with two pronounced (unlike g pro) on the side and a good sensor.
Think all the top logi's share the 3366/60 sensor. Its good.

Between, Zowie, Logitech, Razer, pretty sure you can find something with a great sensor and suitable shape.

Narrow it down, then google gpro esreality, g403 esreality etc you'll find stuff posted on them already.

then just go for Zowie by benQ EC1-A.

almost same shape, only very slightly different, same size pretty much, and same "base" sensor if not same sensor, i'm not sure which sensor the 1st rival got, perhaps 3310 like in the newer zowie mice.

my bad, i tought my rival uses 3310, instead use the 3059-SS, yea i would to by zowie, i dont care much about the size, was jsut for the sensor, thanks for help anyway :D

the one you're talking about is not the 1st rival, it's the rival 100, with ambidextrous shape, smaller size and cheaper sensor.

if it's the rival 100 that you got, then go for the Zowie by benQ FK1 or ZA12.

zowie-man, do you know if lastest ec1-2 version/models still have button-delay like 2-3 years ago?
I have fk1 (very recent, 4 months old) and it's good/no lag, but i don't know about ec-a

it's the same for the EC series, they fixed button lags :)

actually all "newer" zowie mice got same buttons & switches & sensor(raw 3310) and dpi steps (400 800 1600 3200) etc, only the shapes change

i say "newer" cause latest versions of zowie mice are prolly already 8 months old :D

also be sure to get "by benQ" with red zowie logo (and little benQ logo at the side of the mouse)

also your issue with your sensor is not cause it's 3310 but rather because steelseries is almost as much mainstream as razer so they tend to sacrifice a bit build quality/reliability.

unlike mionix or zowie, only to name them. But mionix mice are more expensive, but i prefer to buy a mouse that will last 5 years but costs more rather than a mouse that will last 2 years but is cheaper.

Zowie by benQ EC1-A (same shape and size than IE 3.0, but 3310 sensor and much better build quality/reliability)

My best buy ever was my MX518 it is good and lasts to this day. I am buying a Razer Abyssus V2 for my son. It is sure better than the no name mouse, which came with jis keyboard. Also the small form might fit his hand well.
