When tweaked quake was runing at decent constant framerate of 90+ you were a god in that time.
I remember when for example we were droping from level 1 to quad on dm6, if you had a machine with lower fps when dropping to quad you would lose 5hp, but we used the trick to zoom to fov 10 so your screen would hit only one texture and you would hit the highest fps and not lose health in that way (back in the days hahaha)
you know what? we still enjoyed the game and played it regardless if you had 60-80-100-120 what mattered is that we all played something we liked.

So if for example the game doesnt run on highest fps that will not be the problem for me until I get better system if the game is good, playable and enjoyable.

In fact, I got bad fps in the first three quakes when I first installed them. :D

This so much, id should have a focus group for this early beta with people that understand what a NDA is. Instead they send keys to a bunch of retards, while poeple like vor disrespute nvc are left out in the cold.

What pieces do you actually have in your pc, and what's the framerate that you achieve? That's the only real specs.

Closed means not everyone can get in, its invite only, has nothing to do with NDA or not.

yes yes that's why I put it in quotes, it's not really closed, anyone can just sign up and get invited. closed means you can't sign up unless you were invited.
