its this time of the year where there are only a few small projects per day (2-3h of work maybe). And i am loosing motivation fast to even work.

For comparison on a average work day that is on 60% work load, i would do between 10 to 15 different projects (printing, design), then roughly 20 calls a day of consulting and other non-sense related with clients/retail.

So why is my brain set to this awful thing, when i have this swings of when there is work, its crunch time and working like mad and the less work there is, lazier i get? How do you guys manage this adult shit? Why not use the time that i have when i have less work, to work e.g on my old-timer car or projects that hold some design value and for self-happiness (and not fucking consumer shit ads/promos/marketing/visual polution for corporations and small companies alike).

Working is great and i work until the job is done (altho i am self-inflicting stress), but when work/projects are getting low in numbers i just get so lazy and sleepy as fuck, i think i need to change jobs, work with some magazine setting up design.

edit: just got a client had to carry 20 small boxes out to his car, its COLD AF outside and i woke the fuck up. :D
