I remember that. That was 4 years ago when rapha play a tonload of shootmania.

Only time evil ever won over rapha... or anything at all... I mean besides some 20 dollah online cups.

Evil is on a totally different level than the rest in Europe(and in the world if we exclude rapha currently and cypher if he start to play a lot). He makes a good players to look like a joke when they play vs him.

Depends, the prewarm up for quakecon had rapha crushing players as hard as evil in the aim and tactics.

Well, Rapha is extremely strong, but historically he has had some tournament losses against "lesser" players (Av3k, Strenx, K1llsen, Dahang, Stermy, ...) whereas since Evil has barged into the big scene, he pretty much doesn't lose except Rapha or Cypher, so a smaller player than Rapha or Cypher would in my opinion have a slightly better shot against Rapha than against Evil, just statistically speaking.

Rapha was playing when the competition was way stronger.
Evil has been playing when all good players stopped playing :P

Evil lost alot of "lesser" players also, but just not last 2 years when he was like the only one playing.

I'm not trying to lessen Rapha in anyway, he can be considered by a lot by the best or at least tied at first, I don't think he needs any defense.

But I think a lot of people are a bit harsh with Evil, of course 2015 and 2016 in particular were lesser years, but I thought that 2012 to 2014 were still very good years with strong players and each time Evil was top 3 and pretty much the only one or two that achieved that.

Of course Evil makes more mistakes than Rapha... But that's like saying that someone can't run as fast as Bolt. We all know that is Rapha's biggest strength. I think Evil has overall an incredible level of play that should be recognized. You too Spart1e by the way, maybe not quite as consistent but when you are in the zone it's incredible too.

I'd rather play rapha because getting aim raped is not fun. Still, I know against evil I'd have a 0.1% chance of winning, but with rapha it's 0% because he almost never fucks up.

Evil likes to take risks and rely on his instincts to make those split second decisions with the speed and confidence you need even if they fail because 3 good decisions and 1 mistake is better than 2 good decisions and no mistakes for someone with such beastly combat skills.

Yes we saw Spart1e take advantage of some of those mistakes at quakecon :DD There are spurts of time in which he can be taken advantage of, and made to look the same as he makes others look.

actually the semis and the finals are pretty boring and the outcome becomes obvious pretty fast.

early stages can be more fun when 2 good (but not best) players meet.

I agree semls and finals were one sided but they are a must watch since it is the finals.
