guess i assumed you were talking about doing illicit drugs, not prescription drugs. so if you were saying "if i stop doing illicit drugs, it'll negatively impact my state of being", then i was refuting that. or more accurately, i was saying that science would likely show that idea to be less than accurate/true.

best of 7 as in 70 rounds?! sorry mate i know you have nice aim but watching 70 rounds of 1v1 thunderstruck would be more boring than watching paint dry :(

Best of 7 is the better format imho, so yeah, for 80% of people it's boring as fuck to watch 1v1 thunder for so long, but at least if you win, it's not because of luck :).

And considering the fact that people never saw this kind of format before, i think it could be quite refreshing tbh. And if you really get bored after the 3rd map, then you can still close the stream, nobody will forces you to watch if you don't like it :).

You can even just know the outcome of this bo7, you can be sure that i'll make an update there at ESR :) so, again, no need to watch it if you find it boring ^^

fair enough if you really want to showcase your aim you could do a short highlight video of some nice frags i might watch that :P

1v1 thunder for so long, but at least if you win, it's not because of luck :).

CA is all about luck, no raw skill, if you can consistently pop me into the air with a rocket and finish me off then I'll call it skill, but the RNG involved in some of the fight mechanics are just too broken to warrant real "skill" if you know what I mean?

I do think it'll be fun to watch though so good luck with inviting people and getting them to do it!

Mindgames with rockets get weird and lg fights are all about reading each other's movement.

The point is that 98% of playerbase dont get to that level. You can easily predict people with rocket when you realize how they think, or outaim people with weaker eye-hand coordination. If someone can consistently beat you, there's prolly a reason.

And ye other mods have deeper learning curve, but i could name you some people that could use better combat skills in their field, and perform a lot better.

I never really played thunder struck.
But I just discovered they have it in doom 3 after hardly playing any FPS games in years.

If you were a purist, how about you challenge me to a 1v1 in this game on this map?

I have never duelled it before.
I'm hideously out of shape in any FPS games after becoming bored of them all.
The game has strafe jumping.
Its by id software.
Its had over 250k of prize money allocated to in tourneys.
Virtually every quake player has played it.
Its got rocket jumping.
And most importantly, its got thunderstruck in it.

You have say 14 days to accept the challenge & play as its nothing new for you.

Remember you've played this map over 100,000 times in principle in a similar game.
This is what you're known for!
You've beaten professional gamers on this map?
