kana v2 with tape is a great mouse, it's just like an improved WMO for me

I really like the Sensei I've had for going on 2 yrs or so. Maybe it's my second one. Can't remember. Tend to use a slowish mouse with a bit of accel.

got sensei raw here. it was advertised with adjustable lift off distance on the boxing, which in fact is not a feature of this mouse (at least if it comes to the sensei raw frost blue edition).
guess I wouldn't mind that too much, but the lift off distance is highas fuck. i'm not a settings nazi - I don't care that much about sensors etc. since i think one can do fine with a huge lot of stuff. but this is a very noticable flaw. i've seen some ppl reduce it by puting black tape across half of the sensor "opening", i have to try that yet. if you're not willing to trick around like that i highly dehort u to buy that mouse. no reason to handicap and annoy urself.

same - i really like the sensei, although i've had two of them "go bad" in around 4 years...sensor gets all jumpy and erratic. i switched to zowie ec1 and find that it's incredibly similar, but doesn't break :P also, lol on the "worst ever made" bit - i'm surprised you haven't heard back yet!

Steelseries Saviour/Rescuer for the Chinese market. Its the best Steelseries mouse I've had. You'll have to buy it from aliexpress or other asian sites tho

Its so fucked up that its not available in the Western market. West apparently likes only big heavy mice with heavy clicks.

Rescuer is small, lightweight and has light clicks. It doesn't feel like any other SS mouse. its so weird. Its basically a smaller and lighter EC2 with no shitty Zowie clicks.

Its totally different. This one has "Rival" at the back followed by some Chinese text, I assume it translates to Rescuer or Saviour. Its confusing yes. This mouse is intended only for Chinese market and is nothing like Rival 300 or 100. I have both.

I bought it because I liked the shape in pics and it reminded me of EC2. I expected it to be crap tbh, but was surprised how good it is.

You might want to be careful, steelseries are pretty inconsistent with their button latency in general and one of terrorhead's references is the EC2 which has quite a bit of button latency so if the button latency feels arguably similar that might be something you want to avoid.

Anyone has any information on this mouse? It says it's modded WMO but still has the original sensor and seemingly the wire as well to it and looks identical to the original other than it having different surface on it and that Steelseries logo printed to it while it has nothing to do with the company at all. I don't get it. Is it safer just to get a new standard WMO to replace my broken one?

got it in matte white , waro gave it to me , as my wmos all had spinning bug.

Its just a wmo with different coating on plastic shell .

But i do like the plastic coating better .

I find it hilarious steelseries can never get something right the first time they have numerous versions for every mouse, they all seem to suck hard at first try.

kinzu v3. really? should have just let the kinzu name die with the first abomination...

if you *have to* chose a suckseries mouse, I recommend the "kana v.2" (lulz), seems ok from technical point of view.

stay away from rubber coating, it will bite you in the ass some years later

I've been using kana v2 for more than a year now, i think its a decent mouse if you dont mind high lod, but it has a shitton of smoothing which feels very shitty for flick shots (flick rails or close range rockets) but it improved my lg a lot. I'm still not sure if I would recommend it to anyone.

You can alter lod of some mice by dimming the light manually, for example by sticking something semi-transparent like part of a post-it note over the light source. If done just right, the performance is not visibly changed, only the lod

the main reason i stopped using it is because the click delay is over 25ms

Bogo pickup a g100s or the new G Pro if you've got some spare cash! I know I told you not to get one before and I preferred the kana v2 over it, but after I changed my hand grip style I love it. Only shit thing about is I occasionally make it fuck up and end up facing the sky because of holding the mouse at an angle when I swipe - most people don't have this issue I think.

can you not just get a logitech g pro and put steelseries decal on it, rapha wmo style?

rival 100 is 120g with cable, so unless the cable is very thick i can't imagine it would be light enough for you, but i see no other option in their line up to choose from :(

Get a Logitech G Pro like meta said, or make a kinzuadder - I could make you one if you wanted. After owning like 60+ mice, my personal god like shapes are: G100s(G Pro should be the same but improved), WMO, Kinzu(DA 3.5g internals), Ninox Aurora(DA 3.5g internals inside), Sensei(G502 internals inside)

I just got a Rival 300. I traditionally used to play with heavy mice, so that aspect isn't much of a problem for me. Apart from that, buttons seem fine, sensor is great, so no complaints.

Previous mouse was an abyssus, it's sensor was mostly ok, but a bit funny, this one is definitely better. No discernible button lag like the Zowie FK that I have either. (Which also has a great sensor)

Shape is a bit wide, but I think I just need to get used to it, I like the stability again.

Rival 100 @ 500CPI is an ok choice. Lightweight isn't what steelseries does tho unfortunately :(
